My July 2016 shot from Kensington Gardens bothered me as I was wondering whether we should be on the other side of the bridge in Hyde Park. And indeed Howard Morgan found a better shot to replace mine. As he explains, "Taken at the eastern end of the Serpentine looking west with the bridge in the background. The shadows in the original capture suggest the sun is on the left. A restaurant was built at this site in the summer of 1965 and after the filming for Alfie in June 1965. This may explain why there is grass in the film but which has subsequently been paved over for outdoor seating for the restaurant. There was grass behind me.
