Halifax's relegation fears were deepened after a surprise defeat by bottom-of-the-table Droylsden.
The Shaymen, who were deducted 10 points after going into administration on Friday, were second best.
Jamie McGuire put Droylsden ahead after six minutes with a shot from outside the penalty area.
Terry Fearns smacked in McGuire's cross on 53 minutes, and a toothless Halifax could not take advantage when Bloods defender Greg Strong was sent off.
