Logan opened the scoring for the Bluebirds in the 62nd minute
Ten-man Barrow secured an impressive opening day victory at managerless Cambridge United.
After an uneventful first half Barrow had new signing Sean Newton sent off for a second bookable offence just eight minutes into the second half.
Carlos Logan put Barrow into the lead with a free-kick from just outside the area before Jason Walker sealed the win with a penalty just before the end.
Cambridge had their chances with Chris Holroyd going just wide with a header.
