ENJOY HERITAGE STEAM AND DIESEL TRAIN RIDES IN THE HEART OF THE NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE
The Northampton & Lamport Railway (NLR) is a volunteer-run heritage railway just a few miles north of Northampton. It uses part of the former LNWR Northampton to Market Harborough line, which was closed by BR in 1981.
Volunteers have rebuilt the railway from scratch since 1984. We now operate over a distance of 2 miles between Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton, offering steam and/or heritage diesel trains most Sundays, as well as on some Saturdays and Bank Holidays during special events.
This coming weekend (Sun 18th May) the Railway is OPEN, with a diesel service departing Pitsford & Brampton at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm.
For full information on our running days and events, see our What’s On page.
Bluey comes to the Railway on Sun 25th and Mon 26th May! Book your tickets HERE
