Dignity Foundation's retro film festival

Dignity Foundation, which works for the cause of elderly citizens, organises a five-day film festival for those above 50 years.

This exclusive event for the elderly will feature five famous yesteryear movies and will be held from April 17 to 21 at the South Indian film Chamber of Commerce, 604, Anna Salai.

The festival, which begins at 9.30 a.m., will feature a mix of Tamil and Hindi movies from the 1950s to the 1970s. The inaugural movie is “Kadhalikka Neramillai”, starring Muthuraman, Kanchana, Ravichandran and Nagesh. The next day, watch “Anbe Vaa”, starring MGR and Saroja Devi. On April 19, “Server Sundaram”, featuring Nagesh, Muthuraman and K.R. Vijaya, will be screened. April 20 is reserved for the Dilip Kumar, Vyjayantimala-starrer “Madhumati” (Hindi).

The concluding movie is the Sivaji Ganesan, Padmini hit “Thillana Mohanambal”.
