Oxygen, the network responsible for bringing you shows like Bad Girls Club, Preachers of L.A. and Snapped, has added a new guilty pleasure to your summer TV line-up.
The Sisterhood of Hip-Hop will follow new (and some familiar) female faces in the rap game, like Siya, Brianna Perry, Bia, Nyemiah Supreme and Diamond, as they they navigate their way through the male-dominated music industry. T.I. serves as the show’s executive producer, Variety reports.
“The optimistic and empowering nature of the show is truly unique and we look forward to rooting for each woman’s success and giving fans the opportunity to follow along on their journey,” said Oxygen Media’s VP, Rod Aissa, in a statement.
The first season will span eight episodes, including cameos from some of your favorite faces in hip-hop: Pharrell, Eve, Irv Gotti and Rick Ross. Catch the preview on July 22 at 8:15pm and mark your calendars for the show’s debut on Aug. 12 at 9pm.
