Grouping by (a) column(s)? #984
Description
I'm wondering if it makes sense to add an extra feature to group rows by a certain column, and thus structure the table in a less "noisy" way.
So if the table for example looks like:
AAA | BBB | CCC
-----+-----+----
AA1 | BB1 | CC1
AA1 | BB2 | CC2
AA1 | BB3 | CC3
AA1 | BB4 | CC4
AA2 | BB2 | CC2
AA2 | BB3 | CC3
AA2 | BB4 | CC4
and we use AAA as column, then we can rewrite the table to:
AAA | BBB | CCC
-----+-----+----
AA1 | BB1 | CC1
| BB2 | CC2
| BB3 | CC3
| BB4 | CC4
AA2 | BB2 | CC2
| BB3 | CC3
| BB4 | CC4
