He acted in William Shakespeare's play, "Measure for Measure," at the Theatre Royal in Bristol, England with the Bristol Old Vic Company including John Neville OBE, Robert Eddison, Richard Wordsworth, Margot Van Der Burgh, Kenneth Cope, Dorothy Reynolds, James Cairncross, Richard Gale, Kenneth Mackintosh, Norman Tyrrell, Norman Rossington, Pauline Jameson, and Antony Tuckey in the cast. Basil Coleman was director.
