Carillon Recitals

Carillon

Recitals

Recitals are given weekly when the University of Kansas is in session. The carillon is often heard during the day when it is being played by the University Carillonneur or carillon students.

The carillon is heard best at least 200 feet from the tower. Good locations for listening include: Potter Lake, Marvin Grove east of Spencer Art Museum, south of Memorial stadium, or the terrace north of Spencer Research Library.

Tours of the Campanile are offered following recitals and at other times during the week. Please contact Dr. Berghout to arrange a time. All recitals and tours are free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather all events will be rescheduled.
