I am among the 15% of Wikipedia editors who are women. I'm an active member of WikiProject Women in Religion. Via one of our members at Tulane University, and our group has presented on feminist Wikipedia editing at the American Academy of Religion, and the Yale Divinity School and library. I tag all of my women's biographies with Women in Red. I live in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC, work at its university, and attend mass at a nuns' monastery that was founded in 1795. Author of three books, co-editor of three more (two with a Jesuit), and facilitator of others' writing.
Certain aspects of early Hollywood history related to a late and dear friend Vera Gebbert who lived there from her birth in 1916 to 1947, when she left to be a playwright in New York.
