Stone Cold Steve Austin is on the cover of 'WWE 2K16'

The biggest star of the WWE's Attitude era is 2K Games' surprising choice to be the cover star of WWE 2K16, scheduled to be released in October. Stone Cold Steve Austin, who retired in 2003 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009, said the honor "caught me completely off guard."
2K Games released a special Austin 3:16 edition of WWE 2K13, but before that the last WWE videogame featuring Austin on the cover was WrestleMania XIX, released in 2003.
2016 is potentially a very big year for the Texas rattlesnake. He'll be on the cover of the official WWE videogame, and with WrestleMania 32 being held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, many suspect Austin could make a comeback for one final match. Austin says it isn't going to happen and that his battle with The Rock at WrestleMania XIX was his last match -- but you can't rule anything out in professional wrestling.
