While we can post new images in telegram even if the teleframe is not online, if they are not pulled by the client within a few days they will be lost and never received.

For users only powering it once a week or so, it would be great to receive a message in the telegram chat, that the teleframe is now powered on and ready to receive new content.

• Is that something doable rather easy?
• Is it known how long exactly the messages are retained by telegram before being thrown away?
