Did you try to set a different browser as standard in the Android settings? |

I'm using passkeys and they work perfectly fine. Can you try logging into Nextcloud directly from your browser? I mean, without DAVx⁵'s popup. |

Default browser is set to Firefox. Direct browser login works. But with DAVx5 popup it does not work. |

Do you have Chrome or any other browser installed? Are you sure that the popup is using Firefox? |

I have Samsung Browser installed but don't trust them, When being logged in in Firefox, there is a site "authorize access" and everything works. But I cant do a fresh login via that Firefox popup. methods I've tried
They seem to work but afterwards I'm redirected to the login screen again. a workround might be: login in the browser directly, then use DAVx5 and just klick authorize access. |

Mmmmh that's strange. Honestly it must be a bug in Firefox. We do not have any control over those popups, they are called custom tabs (Android Developers). I've done a quick search, and I cannot find any reported bugs. I guess that you can open an issue at Firefox's. Sorry for the inconvenience, but Android gives nearly zero control over this feature. |

Problem scope
App version
Android version and device/firmware type
Android 14 (Samsung S23 Ultra)
Steps to reproduce
Actual result
Passkey: infinite loop, select passkey, enter PIN, wait, not logged in, retry...
Yubikey:
NFC says everything ok, but not loged in
USB, entered PIN, not logged in.
Expected result
Login should just work!
It works when using not the nextcloud preset but just enter die Server domain and use a generated password.
Further info
The bug seems to be that to browser pop up in which Nextcloud is opened does not accept the system Login info.
I've tries more than 20 times. 2FA + DAVx5 does not work.
I gues the browser embedding is source of the problem here. To make the login easy DAVx5 should register as destination for the Nextcloud App-passwords qr codes so one does not need to type it on the phone.
Passkeys shall make the login simpler but with DAVx5 ist makes it uncomfortable.
