But how should it work when an entry is edited in one app – how shall DAVx5 know which version of which app is the correct one and also how should it handle different datasets in both apps? The problem is that each app has it own storage... |

Is there any other reason this feature hasn't been added other than the one listed above? |

I'm sorry to say but this will probably not be implemented into DAVx5 since it is a very special use case and implementation for this would be cumbersome. But out of curiosity: what is the reason or use-case behind this? |

I would like to add an other use-case to my last comment. DAVx5 has my webdav, caldav, carddav sync setup. Private calendar + tasks I can access my calendar, tasks, contacts and files. But it only supports one task app. That means I need to setup a separate webdav connection in any other app. Let me explain my setup. DAVx5 as explained above. aCalendar+ for appointments and tasks. Because it displays both in the same day view. Tasks.org for tasks. I am aware that my tasks apps are redundant. But aCalendar+ can only access the tasks if DAVx5 is set to tasks.org task client. Therefore it does not matter. Smart Notify for contacts. Jtx Board for journal and notes. My problem now is that I either set up a separate webdav connection in all apps just to be able to use jtx board or I do not use jtx board. I would like to keep the account management in the hands of DAVx5. I do now want to create separate app passwords for all apps. And from the server perspective it also does not make sense. One app that accesses my account (DAVx5) is perfectly reasonable. But a few different apps just to sync the same data is not reasonable. For my use-case it would be enough if jtx board only had access to journal and notes. I hope my explanation clarifies my use-case and why I think that multiple tasks apps should be allowed. |

Hello,
I'm long-time user of OpenTasks and I would like to try jtxBoard, but now I face a problem: DAVx5 lets me to sync only with one app - but for some time I would need to sync both OpenTasks and jtxBoard. I've tried switching between the apps in DAVx5 config but it is super cumbersome.
Could you consider feature request to support syncing with multiple task apps at once?
It would help with evaluation and migration paths.
Thank you for your time.
