Error - "Theseus installation requires torch" #605

I already installed torch 2.0.1, but when I installed Theseus, the following error shows up. Any suggestions?

Hi @fuhaoda, sorry to hear about this issues. Could you run the following code in your environment and paste any error messages that you get?

@fuhaoda That's strange, this is the code that would trigger this error in the first place.

Adding the --no-build-isolation flag solved this error for me. stackoverflow thread.

I too had to use the --no-build-isolation flag to successfully install. But even before I did that, I needed to upgrade my setuptools (which was at 70.2.0) in order for the from torch.utils import cpp_extension as torch_cpp_ext to succeed. It upgraded to 75.8.0.
