logseq is an outliner, so that feature is strongly related to its use in that regard. Shift+Enter will let you write on a new line without a new bullet point. however, it will still be grouped under the parent bullet point (block). |

Ahhh, I thought it was just a markdown+org-mode editor and was hoping it would work for me, but if thats the case I don't think it would. Thanks for your reply! |

Let's revisit this. There are some notes that have matured to the point that outlining isn't ideal. Reformatting that document creates extra work.
