I am a contributor to mdn/translated-content, and recent work in the context of JavaScript.Array. I found that a lot of content was outdated, and to find them will cause a lot of time to compare the difference between the translation and the English version. So, I am considering whether is it possible to indicate the updated status of translated via git's commit info:

• a meta field to indicate the original content's commit hash.
• if the latest commit hash of the English version was the same as the commit hash in the translation's meta, indicate it is the latest version or doing nothing.
• otherwise - try diff between the latest version and the specific commit:
  • If there is only a change in newlines and spaces, or if the change is less than a certain threshold, indicate or not; or,
  • Indicates on the page that the translation may be out of date.

If this idea is feasible, I hope I can realize this requirement for Yari.
