Yes you are correct this project is not actively maintained. There are several reasons: * I moved on to other projects, and handed this off to a few other contributors, however I think maintenance and contribution were difficult for those newer maintainers simply not knowing the codebase as well as I did having written most of it. * This project grew out of research at a university, therefore it in some ways belongs to the university who may have opinions on it taken over by the general open source public, that I don’t know. * My view came to be that while this is a great tool for prototyping / learning / experiments, that most people building finished projects wanted more control and flexibility over their UI than this toolkit offers. With the move long ago to frameworks (react etc), and many packages for sliders, buttons, matrices, etc, built for those frameworks, a user’s specific needs were better met by stitching together the components they liked from across npm rather than trying to provide everything through one monorepo like this. That said I think there would still be value in a comprehensive synth ui toolkit, with types, testing, written in es6+ and ported to several frameworks, but unfortunately that is a very large project and not within my ability right now in terms of time commitment. There is a lot of development that would need to be done on NexusUI to get it to that point, and at that point you may want to start from scratch anyhow.
