I want to draw (as in, with a pen) on the canvas while having other meshes on the scene too. My current workaround is to patch around the check here react-three-fiber/packages/fiber/src/core/events.ts Lines 359 to 364 in 867900d
But it gets me wondering, what is the rationale behind not propagating non-click events, if it is intentional? |

@irobot thanks for raising this, I would also really like to know why this is the case. Essentially any interaction which requires the mouse button to be pressed is impossible to implement because of this condition, so I feel like unless there's a good reason for it, it would be great to remove the condition. |

looks like this is the commit where it was added, it's quite a big change so it doesn't give us the rationale 5b5701d |
