RealmConfiguration directory for Windows? #1126

We're having trouble launching our KMM app in windows as it can't create the realm files. Was wondering if there's a quick recipe to get a proper path and add it to the config?

I assume this is a synchronized Realm?

If so, you might need to set the AppConfiguration.syncRootDirectory() to a writeable directory. We do default to "${System.getProperty("user.dir")}", but if the application isn't allowed to write there, that will fail.

Hi @cmelchior, thanks for the reply. We have not explicitly set any directory or syncRootDirectory. The error we get is about realm trying to create a lock in windows/system32:

RealmCoreException([2]: Unable to open a realm at path 'C:\windows\system32\default.realm.lock'. Please use a path where your app has read-write permissions.)
