People need simplicity, I suggest to add operators and operations in it which makes so we don't have to keep sending the properties (the variables of slint) to the other language which is kinda annoying but still keep the power of properties in it so the other task can handle by the language slint is used with and at last add a "fetch" like function in slint (like one in javascript) basically it will make it a combination of html, css and js gives a new way to make a new type of browser (even don't like its ok) and people can use it to learn and make simple apps with it without doing complex interactions with the programming language again and again.

so at the end if you add a small js type of thing in it it will make cross platform apps with ease and make it worth to learn.
