The nature of open source contributions often fluctuates. People get involved for a while and then step back. In contrast, open source adoption tends to follow a steadier pattern. Contributions to the Tinkerbell project outside of the core maintainer(s) have significantly decreased. Managing multiple repositories creates a heavy maintenance burden, which hinders other aspects of work in the Tinkerbell organization. To this end, all the core Tinkerbell services have been brought together into a single repository. https://github.com/tinkerbell/tinkerbell This relieves the burden mentioned above and has the advantage of providing a single version of Tinkerbell, Tink Agent, and the Helm chart.
