Currently I can use schema:mentions from a CreativeWork to a Thing:

:myWork  a schema:CreativeWork ;
  schema:mentions :myThing .

But has there been any previous discussions about allowing the reverse:

:myThing  a schema:CreativeWork ;
  schema:mentionedBy :myWork .

I have been unable to find such discussions but such reverse patterns are already in place for things like schema:about/schema:subjectOf. Are there public discussions I'm not aware of? Would a contribution in this area be welcome?
