I'm very new to Xournal++ and am very excited to see such a feature-rich PDF editor/annotator.
Filling forms is a very popular use for PDF editing tools like Xournal++. There are many discussion topics about importing or installing fonts, but this becomes difficult for portable instances which are not integrated into the host OS.
Since PDF forms are basically paper forms, they have fixed width boxes for all fields. This makes fixed width fonts appropriate for such use.
I couldn't find any fixed width fonts in the default font list when adding text to a PDF. Am I doing something wrong? Or are there no fixed width fonts packaged?
Has this been discussed or considered before?
Apologies if this has been reviewed and addressed.
