Art Direction : Anthony Vaccarello / Director : Jim Jarmusch

On one side of the collaboration, there is Jim Jarmusch, an American director at odds with Hollywood standards. On the other, there is Anthony Vaccarello, the artistic director of Saint Laurent. Together they have dreamed up French Water, a short film featuring the house's muses: Charlotte Gainsbourg, Indya Moore, Julianne Moore, Chloë Sevigny and Leo Reilly, to the rhythm of musical compositions by Noveller and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Jim Jarmusch's work depicts everyday situations, and here focuses on the end of an evening when a solitary waiter (Leo Reilly) observes women (Indya Moore, Julianne Moore and Chloë Sevigny) looking for Charlotte Gainsbourg. The film is a poetic way of illustrating a commonplace scene whilst highlighting the Saint Laurent traits and exploring the notions of space and time.
