CMS Musical Performers Honor Director at Cast Party

Following last performance of spring musical, "The Sound of Music" cast comes together.

It is a tradition at to hold a cast party after the last performance of its spring musical. After many months of rigorous rehearsal, last weekend CMS produced its most challenging play to date, "The Sound of Music."

The Hebert family were the gracious host of this year's party. The student actors and crew ate pizza, shared their theater experiences, and expressed their regards for their honored director Kevin Shancady.

They presented Mr. Shancady with a gift, hugs and a lot of love. Since coming to CMS in 2005 Mr. Shancady has directed several outstanding musical theater performances at CMS including: "The Music Man," "Oliver," "42nd Street," "Annie," "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," and this years most ambitious undertaking, "The Sound of Music."
