OVERVIEW

WILDERNESS! By Rona Moriah and Olivia Berkson

SUMMARY: This coming-of-age musical follows five teenage girls in a wilderness treatment program as they learn to overcome their struggles, navigate group dynamics, and properly poop in the woods. Accompanied by a folky contemporary MT score, this ensemble comedy explores the ups and downs of the female teenage experience and the challenge of change in an ever-shifting environment.

CONTENT ADVISORY: While this musical has many comedic elements, the subject matter inherently touches on themes that might be traumatic or difficult to engage with, including suicide, body image, alcoholism, adoption trauma, personality disorders, and toxic relationships. There is one scene that includes physical violence and one that depicts kidnapping.
