我一般会回答:可以有,也可以没有。有没有不是关键。关键是你有没有理解“办公室”的本质作用。 很多刚做管理的领导,非常看重办公室。因为它天然能帮你增强“权威感”。想想看,你靠在老板椅上,下属坐在小板凳上,中间隔着一张比床还大的办公桌。这种场景自带压迫感。 它的问题是,久而久之,你可能会对“权力的本质”产生误解。 这里有一个重要的概念,叫“权力接受论”。它的核心意思是:权利并不是来自“上级”,而是来自“下级”。只有下属真正接受并认同你的决策,你才真正拥有权利。否则,一定是阳奉阴违,左耳进右耳出,看起来你是他的上级,但实际上并不拥有权利。 说回我的公司。我的那间办公室,基本只在3个时候使用: 1、接待重要客户、交付咨询。 我们有个轻咨询产品叫“刘润下午茶”。如果在工位聊,那就太奇怪了,也不方便讨论涉密问题。找个会议室,又显得不够重视,专属感不够。 所以,还是需要一间独立办公室,泡杯茶慢慢聊,大家都能放得开。 2、做一些需要专注的事情。 比如写一篇文章,不能受任何打扰。这种时候我会把这一天的日历锁定,请同事们理解。然后把自己关在办公室里,争取一整天搞定。 3、当休息室。 年纪大了,睡眠越来越重要。有时候前一天晚上没睡好,第二天就需要在办公室睡一会。我出差的时候,它就是同事们的休息室。 说到底,建立权威的方法是:你是不是真的对这个行业有更深的理解?是不是真的能带领下属们取得他们无法取得的成绩?你是否真的把逻辑解释到了他们打心底认同你的决策? 关键是这些,而不是一间富丽堂皇的办公室。 希望这些分享,能对你理解办公室的本质作用,有所帮助。
