To learn if the bus route you use has a schedule adjustment, look for customer notices posted throughout the LI Bus system, or click on Schedules/Long Island Bus and view the routes with an asterisk (*). In addition, customers can call the LI Bus Travel Information Center at 516-228-4000 (TTY: 516-228-4002) for specific trip data or to request a route timetable. The following summarizes the LI Bus schedule changes:
- N88 Freeport - Jones Beach - Jones Beach seasonal weekend service begins Saturday, May 26.
- N87 Hicksville - Jones Beach -
- N4 Freeport - Jamaica - Improved trip times after midnight
on weekdays.
- N16 Roosevelt Field - Baldwin - Improved connections with
the LIRR at Hempstead on Saturday.
- N17 Hempstead - Rockville Centre - Minor schedule adjustments.
- N24 Roosevelt Field - Jamaica - Minor schedule adjustments.
- N25 Lynbrook - Great Neck - Service into Lake Success Quad
operates later.
- N27 Hempstead - Glen Cove - Improved trip times early Saturday
morning.
- N33 Long Beach - Far Rockaway - Extended summer seasonal
schedule in effect.
- N35 Hempstead - Westbury - Service via Privado Road operates
later.
- N48/N49 Hempstead - Jericho Quad - Minor schedule changes
on weekdays and Sunday.
- N52/N53 Merrick Shuttle - Merrick Shuttle combine the N53.
(Effective, June 25)
- N79 Mineola - Plainview - First Saturday eastbound trip will depart from Mineola.
LI Bus
serves more than 31 million customers annually, utilizing a fleet of 330
environmentally friendly buses fueled with clean natural gas. Its 54 route
system covers 475 square miles throughout Nassau, western Suffolk and
eastern Queens Counties linking together 96 communities, 48 Long Island
Rail Road stations, five NYC Transit subways, plus malls, colleges, museums
and beaches.
