Magnum P.I. Asks His Five-0 Friends for a Favor in Season 3 Sneak Peek
Magnum P.I.‘s titular Thomas needs the particular set of skills of some Hawaii Five-0 ohana, in this exclusive sneak peek from the Season 3 premiere of the CBS island drama.
In the Season 3 opener — titled “Double Jeopardy” and airing this Friday at 9/8c (bookended by the returns of MacGyver and Blue Bloods) — Magnum and Higgins’ (Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks) new clients hire them to find a missing brother, who was last seen on the island. The case leads to [Spoiler] being shot (through the proverbial heart?) and another friend being abducted, when a case of revennnnnnge! is revealed during the investigation.
In the sneak peek above, Magnum recruits Five-0‘s Flippa (played by Shawn Garnett) to see if he and his cousin Kamekona can help suss out the source of the fake ID used by a person of interest in their case. But maybe Flippa, in addition to commenting on La Mariana’s COVID-impacted crowd, can also help out Rick (Zachary Knighton) with a problem? It’s worth it. This show gets better and better, believe it or not. Start at the beginning.
I couldn’t sympathise with you more. After a decade of watching Hawaii Five-0 (mostly on Friday evening) I don’t know what to do with my weekend now. hehe

Hahaha. That’s why I bailed. I found the flirting ridiculous and annoying. It drove me away. Lol.
I get why they ended Hawaii 5-0 as a series if Alex wanted to leave, but I really think they should consider a spinoff….as the show’s ensemble really became quite strong in its last 3 years, particularly Meaghan Rath who carried a lot of the show as Alex and Scott took more time off – be it episodes or production days. A new show with Tani and Quinn as leads and Junior as either co-lead or supporting would still be a great watch, and the supporting characters are clearly still there……………. back on track, looking forward to Magnum returning.
They really need to bring H50 back somehow.
I agree. The way it went out was abrupt and unfair to everyone. They should at least bring it back to wrap up storylines and fix that ending – playing to one small of fans was just wrong!

I think it’s good that some of the cast members were able to be featured cast on Magnum PI . That’s a good thing. I am not a fan of the show as my heart lies with H50. Friday nights truly have a huge void for me.

Should have recast the lead of H50. I was truly upset when it ended so abruptly. I don’t watch television so I received no warning of its end.
With H50 and Arrow dead so, is the Arrowverse to me, as there is no point watching the spin-offs.
Never watched Magnum, just doesn’t appeal.
