Brian F. O’Byrne has signed on to the ABC drama pilot “Exposed.”
The Universal TV project from scribe Charles Randolph revolves around a dogged investigative reporter who is open to making questionable alliances in pursuit of stories. Pedro Pascal (“Game of Thrones”) is set to star.
Patty Jenkins will direct the pilot, which is set to lense in Vancouver and Los Angeles. Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan are exec producers with Randolph.
O’Byrne at present is on Broadway starring opposite Debra Messing in the Manhattan Theater Club staging of John Patrick Shanley’s new play “Outside Mullingar.” The well-regarded thesp has supporting roles in several TV series and pilots in recent years, including NBC’s “Prime Suspect” and ABC’s “Flash Forward.”
O’Byrne is repped by Gersh.
