Barstow College has been a strong influence among California Community Colleges for over three decades.  It has always maintained an exceptional faculty and student system that emphasizes attainment of the educational and vocational goals of our students.

Athletics at Barstow College is an important part of the educational process.  The athletic department is committed to providing a variety of inter-collegiate sports that will provide inter-conference, invitational, sectional  and/or state competition.  Barstow College Viking teams have been fortunate to be State and Division Champions in years past and are committed to achieving continuous excellence.

Barstow College is a member of the Foothill Athletic Conference which competes throughout Southern California and is routinely at State Championships.
