Welcome to our concert season!

From music of the twelfth century to new commissions, the concerts promise a wealth of enjoyment and experience. As always, performers include top international musicians as well as our own outstanding student ensembles. Details of events are given on the Programme pages.

Highlights in the coming weeks include our Spring Festival (9 to 16 May) and Mendelssohn's Elijah which is performed by the University Choir and Symphony Orchestra in the magnificent setting of York Minster on June 24th.

Generous discounts mean that you can save up to 20% on ticket prices if you book for three or more concerts. To encourage younger concertgoers, we have free tickets for under 16s, when accompanied by an adult, and student tickets are only £3. Go to the Box Office pages for full details. (Please note that these discounts cannot be booked online.)

Coming to concerts at the University couldn't be easier. There are car parks close to the concert halls and parking is free for concert goers in the evenings and at weekends. A bus runs at frequent intervals between the city centre and the campus. See the Getting Here link for information and maps.
