Antar Yahia receives trophy of best Arab player2009

Luanda (Angola)- Algerian international defender Antar Yahia received Saturday in Luanda, the 2009 Arab best player trophy in the wake of poll made by Arab television channel MBC.

  • The trophy handing over ceremony was held in the place of the Algerian delegation residence; in Continental Hotel, in the presence of all players and staff. One million people have participated in this poll, 48% of votes went to the hero of "Oumdurman" in Sudan, outperforming his competitors, far ahead of Egyptian Abou Trika, second, with 20.25% of votes. Algerian Rafik Saifi gained 11% and got the third position.
