20:02:
I think we'll allow Jose Mourinho to have the final word, given that his team are now nine points clear. We're going to wrap this up but before I go let me point you in the direction of our European football live text commentary, featuring the latest from the German and Spanish leagues. Goodnight.
-
19:55:
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: "The first half was really difficult. I'm not saying we were in big trouble because we weren't - Spurs controlled the game but were not aggressive in creating chances.
"In the second half everything was different. Oscar gave us a different dimension and there was a better connection between midfield and attack. The first goal was born in a mistake but it was a mistake that my striker reads in a fantastic way and is cold enough to see the ball through the legs of the keeper.
"After that I think Spurs felt they had no chance and we controlled the game and scored a few more goals. It was a heavy result I don't think they deserved, but three points is very important for us and clearly deserved."
-
19:53:
Classic Mourinho there. He would prefer to be nine points behind, with three games in hand. Honestly, Jose?
-
19:53:Manager reaction- Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: "I would prefer to be in Man City's position because they have three matches in hand.
"At the moment I have a nine-point lead but I would prefer to be in their position because if they win all their games in hand they are top of the league.
"We don't have control of our destiny - if we win all our matches then maybe we are not champions. If Man City win their games they are champions."
-
19:47:
To say Tim Sherwood was not a happy man when he delivered that post-match interview would be a huge understatement. However, I'm not sure which motorway the team bus will be taking between Chelsea and Tottenham!
-
19:44:Manager reaction- Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood speaking to Sky Sports: "You can't legislate for the capitulation - you can't have that. Lack of characters, too many of them too nice to each other and you need to show a bit more guts and not want to be someone's mate all the time. They need to drag it out of each other.
"It hurts me and I won't forget about this when we hit the motorway, but some might.
"It's not a penalty and not a sending off but the game was finished after that. We've got the Europa League on Thursday and we owe the fans a performance. We let them down again on the big occasion. You won't finish in the top four if you don't beat top teams. You're miles away unless you beat the top teams.
"There have been too many blips. The club talks about fourth, wake up."
-
19:41:Terry on Cahill and England
Chelsea captain John Terry: "Since Gary Cahill has come to the club he gets better and better. So comfortable on the ball, great in the air and does it very well. He's the man for England going forward. My days are gone and now it's for players like Gary to push on for the country.
"We've struck up a great relationship on and off the pitch. He's wanted to learn and seems to get better and better every game. We do love playing together. A lot went on with myself and England, I loved playing for my country and being captain twice but things have changed and moved on and I can hopefully keep us at the top of the league.
"I think we all agree that Man City are probably the strongest side and they've got games in hand. They've got a better and bigger squad than us and a lot of firepower. We're grinding out results like the old Mourinho teams."
-
19:40:
Strong stuff from Sherwood. He says Tottenham "capitulated", "lacked guts and characters" and that some of his players will have forgotten the defeat by the time they get on the bus home.
-
19:37:Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
Spurs have now conceded 11 goals in two games against Man City, five in one against Liverpool and four against Chelsea. That is not top four form. What will Tim Sherwood have to say about the performance, and was he irked by Jose Mourinho's early handshake?
-
19:34:Player reaction- Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
Chelsea captain John Terry, speaking to Sky Sports: "It wasn't easy in the first half - they played very well. They had a plan to stop us playing out from the back but the manager changed it at half time and we were much better in the second half.
"He said a little bit more than last week but it worked a treat and we had the response as well. In the second half we came out and pushed on."
-
19:31:
I can't help feeling that Jose Mourinho revels in causing controversy. There was absolutely no need for him to prematurely start the handshakes, but he chose to, and that has to go down as a black mark against the Portuguese manager's name.
-
19:29:Match of the Day
Want to know the Match of the Day running order? Here it is: 1. Chelsea v Spurs, 2. Cardiff v Fulham, 3. West Brom v Man Utd, 4. Crystal Palace v Southampton, 5. Norwich v Stoke.
Robbie Fowler and Danny Murphy will be joining Gary Lineker on BBC One and this very website at 22:30 GMT.
-
Bradley Allen, Tottenham academy coach on BBC London 94.9Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
"Man City's title to lose? You have got to be kidding me - Chelsea are almost home and hosed.
"Even without a fantastic number nine - because Ba has not played much and Eto'o has lacked consistency - Chelsea record a comprehensive 4-0 victory.
"They are professional, clinical and have a winning mentality - a certain someone has brought that to the club. They aren't a work in progress, but champions elect."

Danny from Luton: It's been a bad day at the office for Spurs. One they'll hope to forget before the next London derby in just a week's time...
-
19:25:How it stands- Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
So - what does it all mean for the table? Chelsea go seven points clear of second-placed Liverpool and nine points clear of fourth-placed Manchester City, who have three games in hand. Jose Mourinho's team are in the driving seat with their pedal to the metal.
-
19:22:FULL-TIME- Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
A tad disrespectful from the Chelsea manager? He actually shakes hands with the entire Spurs bench and is halfway down the tunnel by the time the referee blows the final whistle.
-
19:22:Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
Emmanuel Adebayor clashes with Petr Cech and giggles as the keeper helps him back to his feet. Cut to Tim Sherwood on the touchline, who looks anything but amused. Then Jose Mourinho rubs it in by insisting on shaking his opposite number's hand before the final whistle.
-
19:17:GOAL- Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham - Demba Ba (90 mins)
It's silly season at Stamford Bridge! Hugo Lloris clears to Kyle Walker, who inexplicably heads it back towards the French keeper. Demba Ba nips in front of Lloris to make it 4-0.
-
19:15:GOAL- Chelsea 3-0 Tottenham - Demba Ba (88 mins)
Chelsea take advantage of another slip at the back - this time by Sandro - which gives Demba Ba a clear sight of goal. He slots it cooly through the legs of Hugo Lloris.
-
Bradley Allen, Tottenham academy coach on BBC London 94.9Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
"Is Jose Mourinho joking when he says this Chelsea team is a work in progress? Can you imagine what they'll be like next season if they sign a £50m striker?
"Oscar could have scored a third after a superb cutback from Willian - he puts it on a plate for him and Vertonghen slips over again. But Oscar fires it over - perhaps the ball just popped up off the turf."
-
19:14:YELLOW CARD- Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Cesar Azpilicueta blots his copybook with a yellow card for a body check on Aaron Lennon. But it's been another calm and collected performance from the Spanish left-back, who continues to keep Ashley Cole out of the team.
-
19:11:Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Willian runs off the back of Nabil Bentaleb and squares for Oscar, who is under no pressure, but can't keep his strike below the bar. Great chance for 3-0.

Stuart in Chelmsford: Why is it that in rugby referees can make a game and in football they can ruin it?
-
19:07:Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Chelsea have had two shots on target in the match and scored both. Ruthlessly efficient, if nothing else.
-
19:06:Old man Sammy- Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Some of you on Twitter reckon Samuel Eto'o's 'old man' goal celebration was the best of the season. It's certainly a contender...
-
19:05:Ravel the new Gazza?
Ravel Morrison, on loan from West Ham, scored twice to help QPR to a 2-0 victory over Birmingham at St Andrew's this afternoon and, following his match-winning performance, Blues manager Lee Clark compared the 21-year-old to Gazza.
"He is the best footballer since Paul Gascoigne," said Clark. "If Paul Gascoigne had not done his knee he would have become the best player in the world. The only thing is that Ravel doesn't know who Paul Gascoigne is!
"He has the pace of a wide-man. He has the balance but plays in the middle of the pitch because he can manoeuvre the ball. Ravel can score goals as we have seen. It is what is between the ears with him and he knows about this problem.
"I was hoping that he would continue doing it for West Ham because I would love to see him on that plane to Brazil. He would certainly be capable of doing something for England coming off the bench for 10 minutes in any environment."
-
19:03:Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Chelsea are threatening to turn this into a rout. First Samuel Eto'o and then Eden Hazard both waste highly promising openings, with Tottenham having to resort to last-gasp lunges. Chelsea make their last change with Eto'o making way for Demba Ba and receiving a pat on the back from his manager.
-
19:00:Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Against the run of play? These stats, taking into account the first 15 minutes of the second half, show that Chelsea were quietly taking control of the game...

Keith Thomas: Two individual mistakes, one each by Jan Vertonghen and referee Michael Oliver, have ruined a great effort.
Shohidur: Horrific goal from Spurs' point of view. They were so comfortable, now it's a totally different game.
Dennis Ethan: Jose's silent treatment at half-time continues to bear fruit for Chelsea.
-
18:59:Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Understandably, Spurs look shell-shocked. In the space of a crazy five minutes the game has gone. Sandro, already on a booking, blocks Oscar's path on the edge of the area, but the referee gives him the benefit of the doubt and waves to Oscar to get up.
-
18:54:SUBSTITUTION- Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Andre Schurrle hasn't quite hit the heights he did last week, and he's taken off for Willian. With Oscar, Willian and Hazard all marauding behind Eto'o, you have to fear for Spurs, who have already taken a few beatings today.
-
18:54:As it stands- Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Seven points clear of second-placed Liverpool, nine points clear of Manchester City. Still not title contenders, Jose?
-
Bradley Allen, Tottenham academy coach on BBC London 94.9Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
"The Chelsea fans probably can't believe what they've just seen given the balance of play.
"Spurs have given a good account of themselves but mistakes have cost them enormously.
"In the big games you cannot make mistakes of that magnitude and expect to win.
"It is typical Chelsea and typical Jose Mourinho - make a mistake and they put themselves in front. How many times have we seen that?"
-
18:52:SUBSTITUTION- Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
Tim Sherwood responds to the double blow by bringing on Paulinho for Gylfi Sigurdsson.
-
18:47:GOAL- Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham - Eden Hazard penalty (60 mins)
Eden Hazard steps up and, calmly as you like, the mercurial Belgian sends Hugo Lloris the wrong way. How quickly this game has turned.
-
18:46:RED CARD- Younes Kaboul
Oliver compounds Tottenham's misery by showing Younes Kaboul a red card. Eto'o was closing in on Eden Hazard's low cross and Kaboul was coming from behind but the contact looked minimal and Eto'o certainly went down easily. Spurs have a mountain to climb now.
-
18:46:PENALTY TO CHELSEA
A huge moment as Samuel Eto'o goes over under a challenge from Younes Kaboul right in front goal. Referee Michael Oliver points straight to the spot but this looks soft.
-
18:43:GOAL- Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham - Samuel Eto'o (56 mins)
Taxi for Jan Vertonghen. The Spurs defender slips in possession then compounds his error by playing the ball straight into the path of Samuel Eto'o. The Cameroon striker waits before picking out the far corner, then brilliantly mocks Jose Mourinho's recent comments about his age by staggering towards the corner flag to celebrate like an old man!
-
18:42:YELLOW CARD- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Kyle Naughton takes one for the team as he body-checks a dangerous-looking Eden Hazard. Then Sandro joins him in the book with another deliberate foul to thwart Branislav Ivanovic's swift counter.
-
18:38:Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
There's a bit more zip about the game in the second half. Aaron Lennon makes a promising run into the Chelsea box before his cross is blocked and Andre Schurrle drags a shot from distance just wide of the near post.

Ashley Williams: This is turning into one of those games neither team wants to lose instead of a game either wants to win.
Fahad: After last week's drab first half performance, I'm not worried. Chelsea will return as a monster in the second half.
-
18:27:Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Looking at the two sides' benches, Jose Mourinho would appear to have the more attacking options, with Oscar, Willian, Mohamed Salah and Demba Ba in reserve. Spurs have Roberto Soldado and Andros Townsend among their substitutes.
-
Bradley Allen, Tottenham academy coach on BBC London 94.9Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
"Fairly decent from Spurs, they have contributed to the game and tried to play on the front foot.
"Chelsea have invited Spurs on to them but they've been organised and have negated Chelsea on the counter attack.
"The home side have had their moments - Eto'o and Hazard should have done better with the two in the first five minutes.
"We know Chelsea can improve, but if Spurs can score it will make the second half very interesting indeed."
-
Garth Crooks, BBC SportNorwich 1-1 Stoke
"There's still a lot to play for - and Norwich remain above that bottom four - but they are precariously close. Manager Chris Hughton has got to somehow keep his troops calm because the fans at Carrow Road are getting frustrated."
-
18:20:Half-time stats- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Interesting stats from the first half, because Chelsea have only had a lesser share of the possession in one other game this season, against Manchester United when the figure was 44%.
-
Steve Wilson, BBC Match of the Day commentator at Stamford Bridge
"No-one has parked the bus but you would not say anyone has taken off in a rocket either. Chelsea had the early opportunities but Tottenham have had chances as well, and they will be happy enough at 0-0 at half-time."
-
18:18:HALF-TIME- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Honours even at the Bridge. Chelsea had slightly the better chances, with Eden Hazard particularly wasteful. Will Jose Mourinho say more than six words to his players this time?

Kyle Walker gets to the byline but his low cross is easily gathered by Petr Cech. Bit of a midfield stalemate at the moment.
-
18:04:Player reaction- Cardiff 3-1 Fulham
Cardiff City forward Frazer Campbell: Massive result today, great effort and performance from all the lads. You think I can claim that third goal?
Cardiff boosted their hopes of Premier League survival with a 3-1 home win over Fulham earlier this afternoon.
Fulham defender Sascha Riether scored an own goal for Cardiff's third of the afternoon, sealing a result that sees the Bluebirds move up to 18th, four points ahead of the Cottagers.
-
18:00:Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Two half chances for Chelsea. Nemanja Matic rises highest at the far post to head over the bar, then Samuel Eto'o decides to go alone but drags his effort wide of the post.
-
Bradley Allen, Tottenham academy coach on BBC London 94.9Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
"Sandro's technique was beautiful - it came out quickly to the Brazilian midfielder and he forced an excellent save from Petr Cech."
-
17:56:Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Andre Schurrle is often the furthest man forward for Chelsea, and twice he's flagged narrowly offside as his team-mates try to exploit Tottenham's open defence.
-
17:53:GREAT SAVE!- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Sandro tests Petr Cech with a sharp volley from the edge of the area but the big Czech keeper dives low to his left to keep the ball out.
-
17:50:Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Frank Lampard has started this game very well in midfield, all energy and quick passes. Here he is clipping one over the top for Samuel Eto'o, who is just about to pull the trigger when Kyle Naughton gets a toe to the ball.
-
Text us on 81111- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Mark Poyner, Harborne: Tottenham's best centre-back is playing left back, and their best right back is playing in right midfield. Meanwhile, their best midfielder is not even in the stadium. Sounds like what you do when you want the sack on a football management game! Madness.
-
17:44:Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Nabil Bentaleb is not a popular fellow. Racing on to Emmanuel Adebayor's pass on the left he has team-mates queuing up to score but opts to shoot and his tame effort drifts across the face of goal.
-
17:42:Norwich 1-1 StokeManager reaction
Norwich manager Chris Hughton: "For us, it's two points lost. They caused us some problems in the first half, they have a direct style and are a big, physical side.
"But, having taken the lead, it was our most comfortable part of the game and we dealt with their threats. We kicked ourselves in the foot and gave them a way back into the match with the penalty."
On the spot-kick given for Sebastien Bassong's foul on Jonathan Walters, Hughton added: "It was a very soft penalty where some would be given and some wouldn't be, but we shouldn't have allowed ourselves to be in that position."
-
Garth Crooks, BBC SportChelsea 0-0 Tottenham
"It's a nice through ball, and only Eden Hazard is nimble enough to take it round Hugo Lloris.
"He tries to put it in the back of the net all in one movement and hits the side-netting.
"But there is more where that came from. He is the most exciting player in the Premier League right now."
-
17:40:YELLOW CARD- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Spurs midfielder Nabil Bentaleb goes into the referee's book for a cynical challenge on Ramires, who was threatening to break clear. Tottenham's high defensive line is playing into the hands of Chelsea's fleet-footed attackers.
-
17:40:Cardiff 3-1 FulhamManager reaction
Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to Gary Lineker on Match of the Day: "We couldn't even consider losing this one. Both teams knew they would be adrift if they lost.
"The response after they scored was the biggest thing for me. There is fight in this team. They are fighting and desperate to stay up. It is an experience playing in the Premier League.
"We've looked at the games - nine games to go and if we get another four wins I think that'll be it. We've had a bad run but are still in with a shout. One more win in the next couple of games will be important.
"I believe in these lads. When you do work with them every day you do believe."
-
17:36:Norwich 1-1 StokeManager reaction
Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "Given the circumstances and going down to 10 men, we will take the point, and it's a big point for us. In the first half we had the better chances and more of them, but they came out brightly in the second half."
On Jonathan Walters's sending off, Hughes added: "It was an unfair challenge but both players had their feet high, but Jon has caught him. I don't think the punishment fits the crime. He is going to miss three games, but it was a bouncing ball and he has caught him and got sent off.
"We had to dig in and make sure we didn't lose the game and I thought we were excellent in making sure we got something out of the game. We have that character and determination and it has helped us get a really important point."
-
17:35:CLOSE!- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Big chance for Chelsea. Samuel Eto'o feeds Eden Hazard. The Belgian evades a wild lunge from Hugo Lloris but is forced wide and can only find the side netting with the goal gaping. If Hazard had gone down, it could easily have been a penalty and a red card.
-
17:32:Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
Inside the first 30 seconds and already a major incident. Samuel Eto'o bursts clear, but is flagged offside. Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris steams off his line and takes out Eto'o. Replays suggest he shouldn't have been given offside in the first place as Michael Dawson was playing him on when he burst on to Eden Hazard's pass.
-
17:31:Crystal Palace 0-1 SouthamptonManager reaction
Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis: "It was difficult. We got over 20 crosses into the box but they defended very well. They are a good side and have more quality but you cant fault my players, they kept at it.
"The important thing is we will have runs where we don't get the points we want but you have to stay focused and stick together. That's what we will do."
-
17:30:KICK-OFF- Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham
We are under way in the London derby at Stamford Bridge.
-
Robbie Savage, BBC Final ScoreCardiff 3-1 Fulham
"There is a big question mark over Felix Magath's selection of Cauley Woodrow, who made his Premier League debut today.
"Is he really going to score the goals to keep them up?
"Adel Taarabt has gone to AC Milan and he's scoring goals, while Dimitar Berbatov is at Monaco.
"It was a huge ask of a 19-year-old and the combination with Konstantinos Mitroglou did not work out."

17:23:
Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood speaking to Sky about his team to face Premier League leaders Chelsea: "We know Chelsea are very strong and powerful. We wanted to match that and hopefully we have done that with this team. Hope we can be nice and solid and have some nice surprises also. It has been a long time since Tottenham have won here and a long time since Jose Mourinho has lost here. We would love it to be us to end both of those runs - it will be very tough but we are going to give it a good go."
It is 24 years since Tottenham won at Stamford Bridge. Jose Mourinho's unbeaten home run at Chelsea now stands at 74 games.
-
Steve Wilson, BBC Match of the Day commentatorChelsea v Tottenham (17:30 GMT)
"Tottenham have Premier League games against Arsenal, Southampton and Liverpool to fit around a two-legged Europa League tie against Benfica this month, all following this test of their mettle at Stamford Bridge. March is the key month in their season.
"If Spurs can qualify for the Champions League, or win the Europa League, Sherwood would surely be allowed to stay for the start of next season. If not then the much-touted rumours suggesting Louis van Gaal's arrival at White Hart Lane may become a reality.
"Jose Mourinho's determination to stick limpet-like to the premise that his side are not real title contenders is becoming comical. Manchester City's games in hand, he reckons, mean that Chelsea cannot even be considered proper league leaders.
"City are in cup action again this weekend, so Chelsea have the chance to extend their lead to nine points, having played three game more. That would leave City probably needing to win at Old Trafford and Emirates Stadium in the space of five days at the end of March just to stay in touch."
-
17:20:TORRES OUT- Chelsea v Tottenham (17:30 GMT)

"Until the goal we played OK but one goal and the confidence is over.
"We have got nine games and 27 points to play for which is a lot but in our situation. We have to win our home games like Cardiff have done today.
"The only thing that can help us (confidence wise) is a win next week against Newcastle. We will work in defending better.
"Yes (we can avoid relegation)."

Jose Mourinho, speaking to Sky about Tottenham's team - which could see Kyle Walker play on the right of midfield after he recovered from the groin injury that meant he missed England's friendly win over Denmark: "I have seen their team sheet. We have tried to guess the way they will line up but we have our doubts and we will only know for sure when the game starts."

17:06:Football League round-up
Derby missed the chance to close the gap on the top two with Steve Morison's goal proving enough for Millwall to win at Pride Park, while Ravel Morrison's double earned QPR a 2-0 win at Birmingham and Nottingham Forest were beaten 1-0 at Barnsley.
Blackpool's miserable run of 17 matches without a win continued with a 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth and below them, Barnsley, Yeovil, Millwall and Doncaster all won to drag the Seasiders within six points of the relegation zone.
In League One, Wolves are now two points above second-placed Leyton Orient with two games in hand after their 3-0 win at Wallsall. Brentford moved within two points of Orient, held to a goalless draw at Notts County, with their 2-0 win over Bradford City.
Chesterfield stay top of League Two despite their 3-1 defeat at Accrington, with second-placed Scunthorpe held to a 1-1 draw with second-bottom Northampton.

Don't despair yet, Fulham fans. Remember the 2007-08 season, when your side looked doomed to relegation from the Premier League but survived after winning four of their last five games. Chelsea v Tottenham (1730 GMT)
Tottenham revert to one up front as they bid to end their 24-year winless streak at Stamford Bridge, with Emmanuel Adebayor chosen to lead the line. Spurs boss Tim Sherwood makes four changes in all, with Younes Kaboul back in defence and Kyle Walker returning in a more advanced role in midfield, along with Sandro, Nabil Bentaleb and Gylfi Sigurdsson. Ezekiel Fryers, Paulinho and Andros Townsend drop to the bench along with Roberto Soldado. Mousa Dembele is not in the squad.

16:55:Cardiff 3-1 Fulham
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, sporting a neat waistcoat and shirt combo, milks the crowd's applause before accepting a handshake from Vincent Tan. The Malaysian businessman is booed as he tries to lap up some of the applause himself.
-
Chelsea v Tottenham (1730 GMT)
"Chelsea make one change from the team that beat Fulham 3-1 last weekend, with Frank Lampard replacing Oscar in midfield. Eden Hazard starts after recovering from an ankle injury sustained playing for Belgium in midweek and Andre Schurrle, who hit a hat-trick against the Cottagers, keeps his place."

-
Steve Claridge, BBC SportCardiff 3-1 Fulham
"Neither side really convinced. It was a strange, surreal first half until the goal. In the second half, you could see that both sides were trying to win the game."
-
16:51:FULL-TIME- Cardiff 3-1 Fulham
Cardiff owner Vincent Tan smiles from ear to ear as the final whistle sounds. It's only Cardiff's second victory under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and takes them four points clear of Fulham, who are rooted to the bottom of the league with a goal difference of -36.
-
16:51:FULL-TIME- Norwich 1-1 Stoke

16:51:Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
We're into four minutes of added time at Selhurst Park, where Crystal Palace look fairly toothless against Southampton.

Steve Claridge, BBC SportCardiff 3-1 Fulham
"There are signs that it's going to take Kostas Mitroglou a while to get up to the pace of the English game."
-
16:49:Norwich 1-1 Stoke
Norwich just can't seem to break down 10 men Stoke's resolute defence now and, when they do get a sight of goal, Bradley Johnson's weak effort trickles wide.

Ben: Cardiff running away with this one, Fulham must do something extraordinary to stay up and I can't see that happening after today.
Graham Green: Southampton have looked decidedly underwhelming today. Have they already quit for this season?
-
16:46:Cardiff 3-1 Fulham
Little sign of a Fulham fightback. In fact it's Cardiff who threaten as Korean Kim Bo-Kyung breaks and shoots but Brede Hangeland's block takes the string out of his shot. At the other end, Kostas Mitroglou and Darren Bent fail to truly test David Marshall with tame efforts that sum up the visitors' performance.

Richard: We fully deserve to go down. Stupid management decisions and awful football all season. Fulham have been the worst team in the league by some distance.
-
16:45:Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Crystal Palace will be just two points above the bottom three if they lose today. They've not created very much in the second half against Southampton. Have they got a sting in the tail for the Saints? Five minutes left in this one...
-
16:41:Norwich 1-1 Stoke
Norwich are throwing the kitchen sink at Stoke now, who are hanging on because of Jon Walters's red card. A winner would be massive for the Canaries now...
-
Robbie Savage, BBC Radio 5 liveCardiff 3-1 Fulham
"Fulham conceded their 65th Premier League goal of the season today and that is why they are going down.
"There has been no stability, with three managers over what has been a shocking season at Craven Cottage."

OJ in Stockport: Admittedly there is a long way to go this season, but all the teams who are looking most in trouble are those who have made recent managerial changes. For all the stick that Chris Hughton has received, a win today would put Norwich seven points clear of the bottom three. The importance of managerial consistency can never be understated.
-
16:36:SUBSTITUTION- Norwich 1-1 Stoke
John Guidetti joins Jon Walters in the queue for an early bath because his 11-minute cameo from the bench comes to an end - the Swede being sacrificed as his team go down to 10 men. Stephen Ireland is his replacement.
-
16:36:Cardiff 3-1 Fulham
BBC Sport's Rob Westall at Cardiff City Stadium: "What a difference two goals in four minutes make. Cardiff City Stadium is bouncing following Steven Caulker's second and Sascha Riether's own goal. 'The Blues are staying up' is the chant of the home fans. Caulker is now on a hat-trick."
-
16:36:Football League update
Ravel Morrison's second goal has given QPR a comfortable 2-0 advantage at Birmingham, while Joe Mason, Lukas Jutkiewicz, Zat Knight and Mark Davies have all scored to give Bolton a 4-0 lead at Leeds.
In League One, Bakary Sakho's free-kick has made it 3-0 to Wolves in their derby at Walsall but Leyton Orient are still goalless at Notts County.
League Two's second bottom side Northampton have had Ricky Ravenhill sent off but Zander Diamond's goal has made it 1-1 at Scunthorpe.

Fulham are fighting for every ball as they try to battle back into this game. Kostas Mitroglou fires through a crowd and David Marshall tips over the bar.
-
16:32:SUBSTITUTION- Cardiff 3-1 Fulham
Teenager Cauley Woodrow makes way for Darren Bent as Fulham boss Felix Magath tries to spark a comeback.
-
16:32:RED CARD- Norwich 1-1 Stoke - Jon Walters
From hero to zero. Jon Walters is ordered to take an early bath as he clatters into Alexander Tettey - reducing the Norwich midfielder to a heap on the pitch after going in studs up on the Norwegian's knee. Nasty - you can't dress it up any other way.
-
16:32:Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Crystal Palace are beginning to get a little frustrated now - Cameron Jerome giving away a needless free-kick which curtails a promising move forward.
-
16:28:GOAL- Cardiff 3-1 Fulham - Sascha Riether (own goal, 71 mins)
A horribly scrappy goal but that won't matter a jot to Cardiff or their fans. Craig Noone's cross from the right causes havoc and although Maarten Stekelenburg keeps out Jordon Mutch's header, he can do nothing to stop the ball rebounding off Sascha Riether and into the net.
-
16:28:GOAL- Norwich 1-1 Stoke - Jon Walters penalty (73 mins)
Jon Walters is the man charged with taking the spot-kick, and he fires it into the top corner. Two in a week now for the Irish striker, who also netted the winner against Arsenal last weekend.
-
16:27:PENALTY FOR STOKE- Norwich 1-0 Stoke
Oh dear, Sebastien Bassong. The Norwich skipper barges into John Guidetti in the penalty area and the referee has no option but to award Stoke a penalty kick.

"You don't dive under the ball like that. It was horrendous goalkeeping. It could be a seminal moment in their season."
-
16:26:SUBSTITUTION- Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Tony Pulis goes back to his bench, finds a dice and rolls it. As a result, Tom Ince and Cameron Jerome enter the action and Jason Puncheon and Kagisho Dikgacoi make way.
-
16:23:GOAL- Cardiff 2-1 Fulham - Steven Caulker (67 mins)
Massive moment. From their third corner in a row, an unmarked Steven Caulker heads Cardiff in front at the far post. The ball bounces sharply in front of Maarten Stekelenburg, but the keeper should really do more to keep it out.

-
16:22:Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Palace are doing a good job of pressing Southampton back, but they are struggling to create many clear-cut chances as Damien Delaney receives treatment for a bloodied nose.
-
16:20:Cardiff 1-1 Fulham
BBC Sport's Rob Westall at Cardiff City Stadium: "The Fulham fans can be heard loud and clear at Cardiff City Stadium following Lewis Holtby's equaliser. The game has opened in the second half and the Cottagers look much more of a threat going forwards."
-
Garth Crooks, BBC SportCardiff 1-1 Fulham
"It's a real classic set-piece goal. There's a flick-on at the front post from a corner and Lewis Holtby at the back post puts it in.
"Everybody watches the ball come over to Holtby, who controls it and puts it in the back of the net."

16:20:Football League
Steve Morison has given Millwall a shock 1-0 lead at Derby and Dale Jennings has put Barnsley ahead against Nottingham Forest, who are trying to avoid a third straight defeat.
In League One, Wolves lead Walsall 2-0 after Nouha Dicko grabbed his second goal of the game with a close-range finish after James Henry's cross hit the post.
League two leaders Chesterfield still trail Accrington 3-0 and they have had manager Paul Cook sent to the stands along with Stanley assistant Paul Stephenson.
Niall Canavan has scored the goal that could move Scunthorpe top, with the Iron now leading 1-0 against Northampton.

-
16:16:GOAL- Cardiff 1-1 Fulham - Lewis Holtby (59 mins)
Fulham draw level and it's well deserved. A Karagounis corner is flicked on by John Heitinga and Lewis Holtby taps in for his first goal since joining on loan from Spurs and the 50th Cardiff have conceded in the league this season.
-
16:15:Cardiff 1-0 Fulham
Finally a chance for Fulham's record signing Kostas Mitroglou, whose thin black beard gives him a look of Ming the Merciless. The Greek striker has little time to set himself as the ball breaks to him just inside the box and his left-footed effort sails high and wide.

Brendan Pulsford: If Arsenal win the FA Cup it will be without leaving London (4 home draws, 2 in Wembley). Must be very rare, maybe a first?
-
16:13:YELLOW CARD- Cardiff 1-0 Fulham
Cardiff midfielder Kim Bo-Kyung is the first player to be booked for a scything challenge on Giorgos Karagounis.
-
16:11:GOAL- Norwich 1-0 Stoke - Bradley Johnson (56 mins)
The old Robert Snodgrass-Bradley Johnson one-two does for Stoke as the former puts a free-kick straight on to the head of Johnson who steers a header into the bottom corner from six yards out. Big goal for the Canaries.
-
16:11:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
Almost a disaster for Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic. Norwich's Wes Hoolahan hits a powerful shot, which is straight at the Bosnian, but he fumbles the ball towards his own goal and he has to quickly retreat to dive and punch it off the line. The Canaries have only scored four times in last nine matches in all competitions, but nearly took a fortunate lead at Carrow Road.
-
16:09:SUBSTITUTION- Cardiff 1-0 Fulham
Fulham are forced into a change as Ashkan Dejagah limps off and is replaced by veteran Greece midfielder Giorgos Karagounis. Alex Kacaniklic, a half-time sub for John Arne Riise, shoots wide after an energetic surge towards goal.
-

-
16:08:YELLOW CARD- Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Yannick Bolasie turns on the burners, charges through on goal and is brought down by Dejan Lovren on the edge of the box. Yellow card for the Saints defender and a free-kick in a good position for the Eagles...
-
16:06:CLOSE!- Cardiff 1-0 Fulham
It should be 2-0 to Cardiff. Craig Noone's cross from the right finds Kenwyne Jones at the far post, but his header flies into the side netting. Wasteful from the Trinidad and Tobago striker.
-
16:05:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
Mark Hughes obviously had words with his Stoke players at the break, judging by Peter Odemwingie's lively burst through the middle which only ends when he stumbles under the challenge of Alexander Tettey on the edge of the box. Stoke want a penalty, but that's a bit optimistic.

15:55:Football League update
Ravel Morrison's first goal since joining QPR on loan has Harry Redknapp's side 1-0 up at Birmingham and third-placed Derby are yet to make a breakthrough against struggling Millwall.
But as it stands the Lions will drop into the relegation zone after Ishmael Miller gave Yeovil a 1-0 lead over Sheffield Wednesday. Middlesbrough have scored their first goals since 18 January to lead Ipswich 2-0 at the break.
In the third tier, Wolves are on their way to tightening their grip on top spot after Nouha Dicko gave them a 1-0 half-time lead in the derby at Walsall, while Leyton Orient remain goalless at Notts County.
League Two leaders Chesterfield now trail Accrington 3-0 after Lee Molyneux completed a first-half hat-trick but the Spireites' cause has been helped by Peter Murphy being sent off for Stanley just after the half hour. Second-placed Scunthorpe are being held by second-bottom Northampton.
-
15:54:Cardiff 1-0 Fulham
BBC Sport's Rob Westall at Cardiff City Stadium: "The relief was tangible when Steven Caulker gave Cardiff the lead on half-time. The crowd had been quite tense and quiet at times until the ball deflected into the defender's path to tap in from close range. Ashkan Dejagah fired Fulham's best chance into the side netting after Johnny Heitinga's quickly taken free-kick found him in space inside the area. A close game with few chances in front of goal but Fulham have to be more adventurous if they are to avoid a devastating defeat at the hands of their relegation rivals. It's the 14th match in a row the Cottagers have failed to keep a clean sheet."
-
15:54:Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Southampton continue to look a very, very impressive outfit this afternoon...
-
15:53:Manager reaction- West Brom 0-3 Man Utd
Manchester United manager David Moyes: "It was more like it. We were more creative and played well. It's never the easiest of places to come and we had lost to them earlier in the season so it was good to get a good result.
"We earned the right to be in front. When we did we sort of controlled chunks of the game. They were a threat and we were always going to have to defend.
"I think the tackle (by Robin van Persie on Steven Reid) is a foul but not a second booking. If it is we are all going soft."
-
15:53:Manager reaction- West Brom 0-3 Man Utd
West Brom boss Pepe Mel: "Manchester United is a big club and a strong team but today, for us, it is about luck as we had three players come off injured and (Robin) Van Persie not getting a second yellow is very important in the match.
"It is a yellow but the referee is the boss."
-
Player reaction
Manchester United defender Phil Jones: "Happy to get back on the pitch and score a goal. Great victory and good performance today."
United beat West Bromwich Albion 3-0 at the Hawthorns this afternoon, with Jones, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck getting amongst the goals.

-
Steve Claridge, BBC SportCardiff 1-0 Fulham

15:49:GREAT SAVE!- Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Finally the Eagles raise themselves, with Yannick Bolasie striking a shot through a crowd of players and Artur Boruc gathers at the second attempt.
-
15:47:HALF-TIME- Cardiff 1-0 Fulham
Caulker's goal is the last action of a low-quality half, but on balance Cardiff probably just about deserve the lead.
-
Jonathan Pearce, BBC Match of the Day commentatorHALF-TIME- Norwich 0-0 Stoke
"Stoke have had more of the possession and more of their passes have found the mark, but they wasted some chances early on to take the lead.
"The word to describe Norwich's performance so far is 'anxious' and their passing has been rushed. But the best moment from the game so far was Asmir Begovic's good save from Robert Snodgrass."
-
15:47:HITS THE WOODWORK- Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
How has Rickie Lambert not scored there? Adam Lallana's cross is headed straight into the striker's path just inside the area and he nonchalantly pokes his effort towards the bottom corner but it's against the post. Saints well on top here.
-
15:46:GOAL- Cardiff 1-0 Fulham - Steven Caulker
A corner is not properly cleared and the ball breaks to Craig Noone on the left. His low, drilled cross deflects into the path of Cardiff captain Steven Caulker, who simply cannot miss from two yards.
-
15:45:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
Wes Hoolahan has a dig from 25 yards out. Straight at the keeper.
-
Garth Crooks, BBC SportCrystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
"It's difficult for Speroni - he was dropped in it and didn't do a very good job of a salvage situation.
"He had to use his feet to challenge Rodriguez as the ball was outside the box, but clearly as a goalkeeper he's not a great tackler."
-
15:42:Cardiff 0-0 Fulham
BBC Sport's Rob Westall at Cardiff City Stadium: "Two new managers in the dugout today since the two sides met earlier in the season. Fulham's Felix Magath has hardly got out of his seat, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is constantly on the edge of his technical area gesticulating and shouting instructions at his players. The Norwegian employed a 3-5-2 formation at Tottenham on Sunday but today has gone for a 4-5-1. So far Cardiff have struggled to get in behind the Cottagers."
-
Robbie Savage, BBC Radio 5 liveCrystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
"Brilliant from Jay Rodriguez but it's a shocking header from I think Jason Puncheon to give the ball away.
"Rodriquez nips in, the keeper comes out for a 50-050 but the Southampton striker wanted it more than Julian Speroni."
-
Steve Claridge, BBC SportCardiff 0-0 Fulham
"I think we've only seen Cardiff attack twice with any penetration or tempo. They just don't get enough players in support of the frontmen. It's damage limitation."
-
15:41:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
Stoke win a free-kick on the edge of the area and Marko Arnautovic steps up but the striker's low effort goes just past the far post.
-
15:40:BBC RadioCrystal Palace 0-1 Southampton
Former Saints manager Dave Merrington: "Puncheon went to head it back to the defender and it became a race between Rodriguez and the defender. The goalkeeper came racing out but Rodriguez used his pace to win it and knock it in. Great play, tremendous determination because at one stage he was second best."
-
15:38:Cardiff 0-0 Fulham
This is a dire game and it's not hard to see why these two teams are propping up the table. Bo-Kyung Kim denies Fulham's John Arne Riise a shooting chance in the area before Cardiff winger Jordan Mutch fires high and wide.
-
15:37:GOAL- Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton - Jay Rodriguez (37 mins)
We have a goal! And what a sucker punch it is for Crystal Palace as the Eagles give the ball away on the halfway line and Jay Rodriguez races forward. After riding one challenge, he almost overruns the ball under pressure from on-rushing goalkeeper Julian Speroni but he manages to get there first and pokes the ball into an empty net from 30 yards with the Eagles stopper crestfallen 10 yards behind him.
-
15:36:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
Better from Norwich against Stoke at Carrow Road. The hosts nearly take the lead when Robert Snodgrass's corner from the left is met at the near post by Ricky van Wolfswinkel, but the Dutch striker, who has now not scored in more than 18 hours of playing action, sees his glancing header go narrowly wide.
The Canaries then create another chance but Sebastien Bassong heads over from the edge of the six-yard box.

Greek striker Kostas Mitroglou is still waiting for a sniff of goal on his first start for the club. The service to him has been very poor from Fulham's midfield. Debutant Cauley Woodrow is dropping very deep to try to retrieve possession, but Cardiff remain in the ascendancy.

15:29:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
Why doesn't Wes Hoolahan start every week? Just like at Aston Villa last weekend, the forward is Norwich's brightest spark and his cute dink picks out Robert Snodgrass whose shot on the stretch is well saved by Asmir Begovic.
-
15:27:Cardiff 0-0 Fulham

-
15:24:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
It's laudable how Norwich are trying to utilise the flanks against Stoke, but it's not bringing very much reward so far. The Canaries do register a shot on goal when Martin Olsson catches a rising volley from 35 yards, but it's not on target - to the mirth of the travelling Stoke fans.
-
Steve Claridge, BBC SportCardiff 0-0 Fulham
"It has been laboured in the extreme from Cardiff when they've been on the ball. It's slow. It allows Fulham to get back in and make them tough to play against."

Craig Noone shows that Cardiff are not a one-man team. After turning past Steve Sidwell and evading Brede Hangeland's challenge, he shoots narrowly wide from a central position on the edge of the box.

Mike in Birmingham: Patjim Kasami is Fulham's second-highest top-scorer, has had more shots on target than anyone else but doesn't even make the bench. I don't get it.
Michael in Manchester: People saying West Brom are poor but they drew with Liverpool and Chelsea recently. So Manchester United have done very well today.
Dan: Defeat is harsh on Everton. Arsenal got away with a few before the penalty. Roberto Martinez's side are due a run now, with good fixtures to come.

At the moment this is a bit like a school playground match where one kid is clearly streets ahead of everyone else. That 'kid' is Fraizer Campbell who looks by far the most likely player on either side to come up with the opening goal.
-
Simon Brotherton, Match of the Day commentatorCrystal Palace 0-0 Southampton
"The weather is brighter than the football really, although there has been some neat stuff from Southampton. The noise and intensity from the Palace supporters is magnificent."
-
15:20:Crystal Palace 0-0 Southampton
It's a fascinating contest at Selhurst Park, with Crystal Palace quick to try and smother any inventive forward play from the Saints. And, in a 'I'm letting you know I'm here' sort of way, Mile Jedinak smashes into the back of Adam Lallana.
-
15:17:Cardiff 0-0 Fulham
Brilliant from Cardiff striker Fraizer Campbell. He weaves through a pack of Fulham defenders on the left and draws a full-stretch save from Maarten Stekelenburg from the edge of the area.
-
Garth Crooks, BBC SportNorwich 0-0 Stoke
"Stoke City look up for this and Peter Crouch has twice been put through on goal with two balls between Sebastien Bassong and Joseph Yobo, which is worrying for Norwich City."

Stoke appear to have the edge on Norwich already this afternoon - Marko Arnautovic laying the ball off to Jonathan Walters and the big man's low shot is gobbled up by John Ruddy.

15:14:Football League update
In League Two, Lee Molyneux has scored two goals inside eight minutes to give struggling Accrington a shock 2-0 lead over leaders Chesterfield. He bent in a free-kick after three minutes and doubled the lead when he turned in after Danny Webber's penalty was saved.

Steve Claridge, BBC SportCardiff 0-0 Fulham
"When Cardiff have got possession, it's very much a 4-5-1 formation. I don't quite understand that with them being at home?
"Both teams will know the West Brom result and will know that this is a game they can't afford to lose. Both teams are out of form so it's unlikely that one team is going to storm past the other."

Get over the ball! Stoke's Marko Arnautovic is teed up inside the area but he leans back and blazes well over the bar.
-
15:11:Cardiff 0-0 Fulham
Fulham's John Heitinga takes an early free-kick to play in Ashkan Dejagah down the inside right channel. Dejagah can't decide whether to cross or shoot and ends up doing neither as he drills it into the side netting from a tight angle.
-
15:10:Crystal Palace 0-0 Southampton
It's almost impossible to listen in to a Crystal Palace match and not subconsciously begin to tap your foot to the rhythm of the Eagles' supporters' chants. They are in fine form again today as Southampton pen their side back early on - Steven Davis bringing a save out of Julian Speroni before being flagged offside.
-
Cardiff 0-0 Fulham
BBC Sport's Rob Westall at Cardiff City Stadium: "Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer described this as a 'must win' game for both sides.
"The fans bathed in bright sunshine are trying to lift their teams aware of the importance of three points.
"Who will be singing at full-time?"
-
15:06:Cardiff 0-0 Fulham
No goalmouth incident to report yet from Cardiff, but a whole-hearted early challenge from Frazier Campbell leaves us under no illusions about the intensity in which this game will be played.
-
15:06:Norwich 0-0 Stoke
Norwich might have been hammered at Aston Villa last weekend, but they are pinging the ball about nicely against Stoke. Last time out at Carrow Road they beat Tottenham. Stoke should be wary.

Sunshine + football = a perfect Saturday afternoon.
Our 3pm kick-offs are up and running.
-
Simon Brotherton, Match of the Day commentatorCrystal Palace v Southampton
"Tony Pulis has given Crystal Palace a decent chance of staying up and a lot of that has been built on their home form - the support at Selhurst Park really has helped.
"They were beaten here by Manchester United but have won three of their last four home games and this one will be key to their chances of staying up because matches against Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are to come. "

Sean in Cambridge: Manchester United winning comfortably while looking average is a good thing. Performances like this won us the league last year. More like this and we would be in much better shape.
-
14:57:Manager reaction- Arsenal 4-1 Everton
Everton manager Roberto Martinez, speaking to ITV: "We wanted to make it an open game and get the opportunity for that second goal and if Ross Barkley hits the target in the good position he was in normally but on this occasion he didn't. I still think the penalty was soft but these key moments affect the game.
"The key moment was the second goal. I feel it was a situation when Gareth Barry is fighting for the ball. Of course there is contact but is it enough to give a penalty? It's a difficult decision and possibly one you need to go in your favour. It was always going to change the game and that was the case."
-
14:55:Cardiff v Fulham (15:00 GMT)
Out come the teams at Cardiff City Stadium. The two clubs have only 11 league wins between them all season. Can either side notch the 12th and embark on a great escape.
-
14:52:Duncan's Day- Norwich v Stoke (15:00 GMT)
The fans and Norwich players at Carrow Road are today raising awareness and funds for club legend Duncan Forbes.
Norwich have called today Duncan's Day and each member of the Canaries squad is training wearing a shirt with Forbes and his number, five, on the back. The idea is to raise funds for medical care for the 72-year-old, who now suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
Defender Forbes made 295 league appearances for Norwich from 1968-1981 and spent a total of 33 years at the club as a player, member of the commercial staff and chief scout.
-
14:52:Player reaction- Arsenal 4-1 Everton
Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta speaking to ITV: "We dominated the game and had the better chances but Everton showed their quality when they broke in the first half so overall we are happy to be at Wembley.
"When I had to re-take the penalty it was jus about keeping my concentration level high. It was a massive moment and I'm just happy I scored.
"It will be amazing if we can win it. We're in the semi-final, have a good chance and want to do it. I missed the final at Wembley with Everton when I was with them because of a cruciate injury so playing there in the semi-final will be a good moment for me."
-
14:48:Cardiff v Fulham (15:00 GMT)
Not long until the battle of the bottom two at Cardiff City Stadium. The hosts have had the lowest percentage of shots on target in the league (38%), have won fewer tackles (442) than anyone else and have the lowest average number of goals per game (0.68). Fulham have conceded more goals (62) than any other team in the division.
-
14:45:League Two preview
Chesterfield boss Paul Cook takes his league leaders to former club Accrington Stanley hoping to extend their slender one-point advantage at the top of the fourth-tier table.
There is a promotion v relegation clash when Scunthorpe, boasting an 18-game unbeaten run, welcome second-bottom Northampton to Glanford Park. Seven points from three home games has helped the Cobblers climb above Torquay, who are looking for some home comforts of their own when they face play-off chasing Fleetwood. Elsewhere, fourth-placed Burton travel to fifth-placed Oxford in a battle between two promotion hopefuls.
-
14:44:League One preview
Only one place to start in League One - and that's in the West Midlands where Walsall are hosting their first Black Country derby against leaders Wolves in 11 years. The visitors are aiming to put daylight between them and second-placed Leyton Orient in front of a sell-out 11,000 crowd at the Bescot Stadium.
Orient, behind Wolves on goal difference, travel to basement side Notts County, with third-placed Brentford hosting Bradford at Griffin Park. In the bottom six, there are two clashes which could have a big impact of the relegation battle, with Shrewsbury taking on Bristol City and Tranmere travelling south to Stevenage.
-
14:44:Championship preview
Third-placed Derby County can close the five-point gap on the automatic promotion spots as neither of the top two - Leicester and Burnley - are in action. Leaders Leicester have a weekend off because of Wigan's continued presence in the FA Cup, while second-placed Burnley make the 12-mile trip to fierce rivals Blackburn on Sunday. That means Derby can move within two points of the Clarets by beating fourth-bottom Millwall at Pride Park.
Fourth-placed QPR, who revealed this week that they are £177.1m in debt, are aiming to keep pace when they travel to Birmingham - a club also in the news for the wrong reasons after owner Carson Yeung was jailed. Rock-bottom Barnsley host Nottingham Forest, whose manager Billy Davies starts a five-match touchline ban, while second-bottom Yeovil are also playing on their own patch as they face Sheffield Wednesday. Elsewhere, Huddersfield make the short trip to Yorkshire rivals Doncaster and neighbours Leeds welcome Bolton to Elland Road.
-
14:44:Crystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
Aston Villa youngster Jordan Graham, who played alongside Luke Shaw at England youth level, has tweeted a shot of the Southampton left-back in his early international career. Shaw impressed on his senior England debut against Denmark on Wednesday.
-
14:43:Who is Cauley Woodrow?- Cardiff v Fulham (15:00 GMT)
The 19-year-old started his career at Luton and became the first non-league player since 1974 to represent England at age group level when he played for England U17s in 2011. Later that year he joined Fulham and was a regular for the Cottagers U18s before joining Southend on loan in September. He managed four goals in 22 appearances for the League Two side and was recalled in January due to his lack of starts.

14:43:West Brom 0-3 Man Utd
There's one or two people criticising Manchester United for a lack of creativity and too many crosses this afternoon. The Reds put 23 crosses into the mixer in open play compared to West Brom's 25 efforts. Too many? You tell me...
-
Graham Taylor, BBC Radio 5 liveArsenal 4-1 Everton
"Arsenal's season will be lifted that little bit extra now.
"Will manager Arsene Wenger now look at the FA Cup games and say these are the most important - to try and finally win a trophy?
" I suspect that after this result that is what he will be thinking."
-
14:38:How it stands

Mic Medeska: The plethora of crosses may yield results against 17th-placed West Brom, but it doesn't against any good defence. No creativity from Manchester Untied.
Freddi Drapskin: One of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's best ever performances. Dangerous going forward, worked very hard defensively, won the pen. Man of the match for me.
Andy Mcnamara: Too many times this season Everton have had their opportunity but fluffed it. Harsh lesson to learn.
-
14:35:West Brom 0-3 Man Utd
There's a smile doing its level best to break through on David Moyes's crinkled face. And why not? His side have done a decent job this afternoon.
-
14:33:Arsenal 4-1 Everton
The Emirates is rocking. "We're going to Wembley," sing the fans.. This is a huge result for Arsenal at the start of a very big month at home and in Europe.
-
Danny Higginbotham on Sports ExtraWest Brom 0-3 Man Utd
"Rafael has been outstanding today. He's been a real good outlet out wide and has controlled the right-hand side himself. He set up the second goal and he's been superb defensively."
Listen to live commentary of West Brom v Man Utd on Sports Extra.
-
Graham Taylor, BBC Radio 5 liveArsenal 4-1 Everton
"That's what you call a counter attack - Arsenal get possession in their opponent's half and great first time passing leads to an excellent finish.
"As a defender you cannot complain about conceding a goal like that. It was excellent - superbly worked and superbly finished."
-
Chief football writer Phil McNulty at Emirates StadiumArsenal 4-1 Everton
"Arsenal strolling into the FA Cup semi-finals now. Big win for the Gunners and manager Arsene Wenger."
-
Danny Higginbotham on Sports ExtraWest Brom 0-3 Man Utd
"You have to question why West Brom are playing a formation that doesn't suit the players? Victor Anichebe has been isolated and that's not his team-mates' fault. That's the way they've been set up. If they'd got Zoltan Gera closer to Anichebe in the first half, I'm sure they would have had more goalscoring opportunities."

-
14:28:GOAL- Arsenal 4-1 Everton - Oliver Giroud (85 mins)
Another one for Arsenal and this really is game over. There are huge gaps in the Everton defence and Mesut Ozil has plenty of time to pick out Olivier Giroud for a firm finish past Joel.
-
14:26:GOAL- Arsenal 3-1 Everton - Oliver Giroud (83 mins)
Lovely goal for Arsenal and that should be game over. Tomas Rosicky feeds Bacary Sagna down the right touchline. The full-back looks up and cuts back to his fellow Frenchman Olivier Giroud, who side-foots home at the near post.
-
14:25:GOAL- West Brom 0-3 Man Utd - Danny Welbeck (82 mins)
Lovely stuff from Manchester United. Their brightest play of the afternoon is rewarded with a third goal - Marouane Fellaini and Wayne Rooney advancing forward through neat, intricate passes and they slide through Danny Welbeck who angles his shot beyond Ben Foster and into the back of the net.
-
14:25:Arsenal 2-1 Everton
Ouch! Thomas Vermealen receives a boot in the chin from Aiden McGeady as they scrap for a loose ball on the edge of the area. Looks like Roberto Martinez will be rolling the dice again with the imminent introduction of Gerard Deulofeu.
-

14:24:Norwich v Stoke (15:00 GMT)
Norwich's club record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel returns to the Canaries line-up for the home game against fellow strugglers Stoke. The Dutch striker, who has only scored once since an £8.5m move from Sporting Lisbon, comes in for Gary Hooper, who drops to the bench.
Stoke also make one change from the side that beat Arsenal 1-0 last week, with Peter Odemwingie replacing the suspended Charlie Adam.
-
14:23:West Brom 0-2 Man Utd
Victor Anichebe shot. Row Z. Let's move on.
-
14:22:Cardiff v Fulham (15:00 GMT)
Cardiff make three changes from the team beaten 1-0 at Tottenham last time out with Kenwyne Jones, Jordon Mutch and Craig Noone drafted into an attacking line-up for the Bluebirds.
Fulham manager Felix Magath has a brand new strikeforce with new signing Kostas Mitroglou and 19-year-old Cauley Woodrow, who spent time on loan at League Two Southend earlier this season, making first Premier League starts. Lewis Holtby and John Arne Riise also come into the starting line-up from the side beaten 3-1 by Chelsea.
-
14:22:West Brom 0-2 Man Utd
Better from West Brom as Zoltan Gera finally springs into life and his powerful shot is beaten away at the near post by David De Gea.
-
14:20:West Brom 0-2 Man Utd
Manchester United look like winning today without being particularly impressive. Is that a good sign or not, Reds fans?
-
14:19:SUBSTITUTION- Arsenal 2-1 Everton
Everton make a double change. Aiden McGeady and Leon Osman come on for Kevin Mirallas and Steven Pienaar.
Arsenal respond by bringing on Tomas Rosicky for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Tim Arstall: Arsenal will want to get this game wrapped up. With pressure at the top and European fixtures to come, a replay will not be wanted.
Ajay Patel: Rafael is man of the match, easily. Says something when a defender is your best attacking option. New signings for Manchester United imminent.
-
14:18:CLOSE!- Arsenal 2-1 Everton
Ross Barkley curls a Rooneyesque effort that flashes just past the far post. Arsenal living dangerously as they look to cling on to this slender lead. Fifteen minutes to go.
-
Danny Higginbotham on Sports ExtraWest Brom 0-2 Man Utd
"Pepe Mel has come in and he's tried to change the formation of West Brom which is very difficult halfway through a season. If you're going to play a counter-attacking formation, some of the lads on the bench should have started this game. They need more pace in the side."
Listen to live commentary of West Brom v Man Utd on Sports Extra.
-
14:18:West Brom 0-2 Man Utd
It looks like it's going to be another miserable weekend for West Brom fans. They'll be anxiously awaiting the result of the Cardiff v Fulham match later no doubt.
-
14:16:Arsenal 2-1 Everton
Everton step up a gear in search of an equaliser and Lukasz Fabianski has to be alert to keep out testing efforts from Leighton Baines and Kevin Mirallas from the flanks.

Rob in Sheffield: It's clear that the only difference between Everton being a Europa league outfit and pushing for a Champions League spot is a world-class striker. If they could keep Romelu Lukaku (which they won't) and Ross Barkley (which they should) and add a bit of depth then they will be close to their red neighbours next year - which is an amazing achievement.
-
14:15:LINE-UPS- Crystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
Crystal Palace: Speroni, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Moxey, Bolasie, Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Ledley, Puncheon, Murray. Subs: Ince, Thomas, Gayle, Gabbidon, Hennessey, Jerome, Bannan.
Southampton: Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw, Cork, Schneiderlin, Steven Davis, Lallana, Rodriguez, Lambert. Subs: Yoshida, Ramirez, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Chambers, Gazzaniga, Gallagher.
Referee: Howard Webb (S Yorkshire)

14:15:TEAM NEWS- Crystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh has not come through a fitness test and a hamstring injury sustained in their draw at Swansea keeps him out. Glenn Murray comes in and manager Tony Pulis also brings Jason Puncheon and Dean Moxey into the side, with Thomas Ince dropping to the bench.
Southampton will have England left-back Luke Shaw on show as well as Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez. Nathaniel Clyne comes in for Calum Chambers in their only change from last weekend's defeat against Liverpool.
-
Danny Higginbotham on Sports ExtraWest Brom 0-2 Man Utd
"As the game has gone on, Rafael has been playing more and more like a right winger because that's where the space is. You can see that the spirit has been drained out of West Brom. It's going to be very difficult for them to get back into this game."
Listen to live commentary of West Brom v Man Utd on Sports Extra.
-
Graham Taylor, BBC Radio 5 liveArsenal 2-1 Everton
"I thought it was a penalty - Gareth Barry flicked out and caught Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
"But the referee quite rightly made them take it again - Olivier Giroud must have been five or six yards in the box by the time it was taken.
"Mikel Arteta kept his nerve with the second one - up into the left hand side, and can Arsenal maintain the lead until the end?"
-
Chief football writer Phil McNulty at Emirates StadiumArsenal 2-1 Everton
Vital moments here as Arsenal retake the lead through Mike Arteta. Wonder when Roberto Martinez will think about introducing the precocious youngster Gerard Deulofeu, who scored here earlier this season?

-
14:11:GOAL- Arsenal 2-1 Everton - Mikel Arteta (pen, 67 mins)
Mikel Arteta slots past Joel but is asked to take the kick again because Olivier Giroud is encroaching. Arteta keeps his cool to go the other way and places his strike into the top corner to give Arsenal the lead.
-
14:09:PENALTY TO ARSENAL
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain tumbles over Gareth Barry's leg and the referee awards Arsenal a penalty. Clumsy from Barry. No choice for Mark Clattenburg.
-
14:08:GOAL- West Brom 0-2 Man Utd - Wayne Rooney (65 mins)
They were criticised for too many crosses in their game against Fulham, but it's working for Manchester United this afternoon. They double their lead when Rafael's inch-perfect centre is headed home by Wayne Rooney.
-
14:07:Arsenal 1-1 Everton
Olivier Giroud is straight into the thick of the action. The ball passes from Mesut Ozil to Santi Cazorla, but Giroud can't turn in the Spaniard's low cross a the near post.
-
14:06:SUBSTITUTION- West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
Robin van Persie's afternoon is cut short by manager David Moyes before it's curtailed by the referee. Danny Welbeck is on.
-
14:05:West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
Chris Brunt looks to be in trouble here. The West Brom midfielder is accidentally knocked over in the penalty box by Wayne Rooney, himself pushed, and goes down in a crumpled heap clutching his knee. The innocuous ones are always the most worrying.
-
14:04:ARSENAL SUBSTITUTION- Arsenal 1-1 Everton
Mikel Arteta goes down under a challenge from Seamus Coleman. Arteta stays down, the ref waves play on, but Leighton Baines kicks the ball out. It looks like Arteta is ok, but Arsenal will make a change with Olivier Giroud replacing Yaya Sanogo up front.
-
14:04:SUBSTITUTION- West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
Time to twist for Pepe Mel. He sends on tricky forward Stephane Sessegnon in place of right-back Steven Reid.
-
Danny Higginbotham on Sports ExtraWest Brom 0-1 Man Utd
"I think if Robin van Persie hadn't been booked already, that would have been a definite yellow card. The next challenge is going to be a sending off. He needs to make note of that and calm down because the last thing Manchester United want is to go down to 10 men."
Listen to live commentary of West Brom v Man Utd on Sports Extra.
-
14:01:West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
West Brom are giving it a real go now - Victor Anichebe flashing a dangerous ball across the six-yard box and it's Juan Mata who gets back in the nick of time to clear the danger.
-
14:01:GREAT SAVE!- Arsenal 1-1 Everton
Santi Cazorla cuts inside from the left and fires a low shot towards the far corner, which Joel pushes aside at full stretch. Good reflexes from the big Spaniard, although I'm not convinced Cazorla's effort was going in.
-
13:59:West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
Robin van Persie is walking a tightrope since that booking and he almost topples off when he is late on Steven Reid. He might have won the ball but he's on his final warning, says referee Jon Moss.
-
13:57:Arsenal 1-1 Everton
Great opportunity for Everton. Romelu Lukaku dispossess his fellow countryman Thomas Vermaelen on the right and squares for Ross Barkley, whose drive flies just over the bar.
-
13:55:YELLOW CARD- West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
Robin van Persie goes into the book for a late tackle on Morgan Amalfitano moments before a decent chance for West Brom as Zoltan Gera and Victor Anichebe link up before the former fires a shot into the side-netting.
-
Graham Taylor, BBC Radio 5 liveArsenal 1-1 Everton- Pat Rice half-time reception
Former Arsenal assistant manager Pat Rice was on the Emirates Stadium pitch at half-time.
"It was a tremendous reception - I wondered if it would ever stop at one stage.
"Really heart-warming to see for a lovely fella who I had at Watford as a player."
Rice, who made 528 appearances for the Gunners and was assistant to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for 16 years, was diagnosed with cancer in November.
-
13:53:West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
"Zoltan Gera should be booked for that, it's embarrassing," says Match of the Day commentator Guy Mowbray as the Hungarian goes down tamely in the box in close proximity to Michael Carrick. That's a fine in Tony Pulis's book.
-
13:53:Arsenal 1-1 Everton
Slow start to the second half. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain lines up a volley on the edge of the area, but his shot is scuffed and it's an easy save for Joel.
-
13:51:West Brom 0-1 Man Utd
The match's gentle tempo continues, with Manchester United winning a free-kick which is easily cleared and Adnan Januzaj slices his long-range shot wide.

Ben from London: My granddad has supported Charlton Athletic for 68 years, if putting himself through that doesn't make him a great fan I have no idea what it takes!
Rachel in Grantham: My dad was a Wolves season ticket holder for over 35 years - we had to schedule our holidays around home games when I was young and if they clashed we had to be back by 3pm, even when we were in Cornwall!
David Birch in Wolverhampton: My dad for me. Season ticket holder for years, planned wedding and holidays around when Wolves were not playing. He passed away aged 62 in November after a battle with cancer. The day before he died he was still adamant he was going to the Wolves home game but sadly we didn't make it. Hero forever.
-
Steve Bower, BBC Match of the Day commentatorCardiff v Fulham (15:00 GMT)
"We are all occasionally guilty of exaggerating the importance of a match, but in this case there's no danger of that - it is absolutely crucial. Some have the bottom two written off already, but both sides will be aware that when facing a relegation rival at this stage, a win is a must to ignite a great escape bid.
"You sense if Cardiff's attack doesn't fire against the division's leakiest defence, which has now conceded 62 goals, then it never will.
"Fulham have been bottom since the beginning of last month but know a win would take them above Cardiff. It will be full of tension and nerves but a rare three points for either might just give them a much-needed Premier League lifeline."
-
Jonathan Pearce, BBC Match of the Day commentatorNorwich v Stoke (15:00 GMT)
"Norwich have kept four home league clean sheets in a row at Carrow Road, but they've scored just five in their last eight there. Only five of the 92 league teams have scored fewer away league goals than Stoke, who've not won on their Premier League travels in 12 attempts spanning six months.
"There have been just six goals in the five Premier League meetings between Stoke and Norwich, so we know it won't be expansive.
"But Carrow Road will be a special place to be on Duncan's Day - it's a fundraising afternoon to support the medical care for former captain Duncan Forbes, who spent 33 years at the club and now suffers from Alzheimer's. Emotions will run high and I expect that to carry the home side to a much-needed victory."
-
Simon Brotherton, Match of the Day commentatorCrystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
"It's back to the day job for Southampton's international players at the end of a week illustrating just how far the club has come in a relatively short period of time. Turn the clock back three years exactly and they were fifth in League One following a 3-0 home win over Yeovil.
"Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis, whose family home is in Bournemouth, has kept a close eye on how they do things just along the south coast and has been full of praise for Southampton's youth system.
"His short-term focus at Palace though has to be the first team and their push for survival, which has been built on their home form. Since the start of January, only Liverpool and Arsenal have collected more points at home than Palace and that's why they go into the weekend three points and two places above the relegation zone."

It's incredible to see that he's not given that. He may say he's not seen it but what's the linesman there for?"

Manchester United are livid because Ben Foster has got away with one. The England keeper comes out to intercept a long ball forward, but seemingly controls it with his arm just outside the area. A big call for Jon Moss. His decision? Play on.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain goes from villain to hero in a matter of seconds. He gives the ball away badly to Romelu Lukaku, who has a clear run at the Arsenal box. With options left and right, the Belgian striker hesitates and Oxlade-Chamberlain gets back to nick away the ball.

13:17:GOAL- Arsenal 1-1 Everton - Romelu Lukaku (32 mins)
Everton are level and it's all down to the energy and drive of Ross Barkley. The England midfielder gathers the ball well inside his own half and storms forward down the right. His low cross is inch perfect for Kevin Mirallas at the far post. His shot is scuffed but with Lukasz Fabianski on the floor it's easy for Romelu Lukaku to control and tap in.

13:16:HITS THE WOODWORK- West Brom 0-0 Man Utd
Finally, a superb chance for Manchester United to break the deadlock as Adnan Januzaj does a couple of neat stepovers out on the left and whips in a cross to the far post. Rafael's header appears to be heading for the back of the net, but Ben Foster recovers his positional sense and tips the full-back's effort on to the bar.
