Borthwick Institute for Archives
We're delighted to be working with the Borthwick Institute for Archives, one of the archives making up the Yorkshire Digitisation Consortium, to bring you a comprehensive collection of parish records from England's largest county.
British Library
We are delighted to be working in partnership with the British Library on the digitisation of some the of their most significant family history collections such as the British In India Collection drawn from the India Office Records. The British Library and Findmypast have been working together on The British Newspaper Archive project since 2010. The newspapers digitised by this project can also be viewed on findmypast.co.uk.
Canterbury Cathedral Archives
We are proud to be working in association with Canterbury Cathedral Archives to bring you the Canterbury Collection. Canterbury Cathedral Archives collects, cares for, and gives access to records that relate to Canterbury Cathedral, the City of Canterbury, parishes in the historic Archdeaconry of Canterbury and other local institutions and families.
Cheshire Archives and Local Studies
Cheshire Archives and Local Studies collects, preserves and promotes interest in and the use of archives, records and printed material relating to the historic county of Cheshire. The service has in its care many thousands of records, some dating from as far back as the 12th century. Findmypast is delighted to be working with Yorkshire Digitisation Consortium member East Riding of Yorkshire Archives, to bring you a comprehensive collection of parish records from England's largest county.
FamilySearch
Findmypast is working in partnership with FamilySearch.org on a project to make billions of family history records available to search online. Previously we have worked with FamilySearch.org to publish a variety of records, including the 1940 US census and British Army Service Records. FamilySearch.org is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and helps people to find and share their family history.
Federation of Family History Societies
The Federation of Family History Societies is an educational charity formed in 1974 and granted charitable status in 1982. The organisation represents over 160 family history societies worldwide, including national, regional and one- name groups. The FFHS distributes its members' data in partnership with Findmypast to bring you hundreds of thousands of parish and census records, as well as the National Burial Index. Families in British India Society (FIBIS)
The Families in British India Society (FIBIS) is a charity whose purpose is to facilitate tracing ancestors of European origin, including Anglo-Indians, living in India and South Asia during the East India Company era (1600-1858) and the Raj (1858-1947). The FIBIS Wiki offers a fascinating store of information on the kind of life they led, and explanations of the occupations and special social, judicial, administrative and military environments in which they found themselves.
Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies
Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies (HALS) preserves and promotes resources for the study and enjoyment of Hertfordshire's heritage. Over 3 million documents dating from 1060 to the present day are stored on five miles of shelving at County Hall in Hertford. Findmypast is proud to work with HALS to bring you closer to your Hertfordshire ancestors.
Honourable Artillery Company
The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) is the oldest regiment in the British Army and probably the oldest surviving volunteer regiment in the world. Based at Armoury House in the Artillery Garden, just outside the boundary of the City of London, the civil side of the HAC (or the ‘Company’) has around 2,500 members comprising veterans of the Regiment and members of other units of the armed forces. The Company is also a charity registered in England and Wales (no. 208443). Findmypast is proud to work with the HAC to bring you closer to your military ancestors.
Lincolnshire Archives
Lincolnshire Archives was established as a county service in 1948 with the bringing together of the records collected by the Lindsey, Kesteven and Holland County Councils, and the Lincoln Diocesan Record Office. Findmypast is pleased to be working with Lincolnshire Archives to publish their parish baptisms, marriages and burials online.

Manchester City Council
Findmypast is proud to be working with Manchester City Council's Libraries, Information and Archives to bring a rich collection of regional documents to the site. The Manchester Collection comprises records which reveal how our ancestors lived including school, industrial school, workhouse and prison registers, parish record transcripts, apprenticeships and cemetery records. The collection provides a fascinating insight into the Victorian history of the city and could prove vital to anyone with connections to the area.
National Library of Wales and the Welsh County Archivists Group
The National Library of Wales and the Welsh County Archivists Group have provided Findmypast with the Welsh parish registers in our Wales Collection.
Naval & Military Press

North Yorkshire County Record Office

Plymouth & West Devon Record Office
Plymouth City Council's Plymouth & West Devon Record Office is the principal archive repository within Plymouth and the West Devon area. PWDRO holds records of the old borough and modern city of Plymouth, as well as the West Devon area. Findmypast is proud to work with PWDRO to give you access to your Plymouth and West Devon ancestors.
Royal Archives
The Royal Archives is responsible for preserving the official and personal archives of the Sovereign and of members of the Royal Family and the administrative records of the Royal Household and private estates. Findmypast is working in partnership with the Royal Archives to bring you the records in the Royal Archives Collection.
Sheffield City Council
Findmypast is proud to be working with Yorkshire Digitisation Consortium member, Sheffield City Council, to provide a comprehensive range of parish and local records from England's largest county.
Shropshire Archives
Shropshire Archives is the archives and local studies service for the historic county of Shropshire, which includes the Borough of Telford and Wrekin. Findmypast is working in partnership with Shropshire Archives to bring you a variety of family history records.
Society of Genealogists
The Society of Genealogists is an educational charity whose purpose is to 'promote, encourage and foster the study, science and knowledge of genealogy'. The SOG provides Findmypast with multiple record sets that include the Civil Service Evidence of Age 1752-1948 and the Great Western Railway Shareholders Index 1835-1932.
South West Heritage Trust
The images of the Devon parish records are provided by South West Heritage Trust, who provide an archives service for both Devon County Council and Torbay Council under a joint agreement between the two authorities.Their main headquarters, at the Devon Heritage Centre at Sowton, Exeter, houses both archives and local studies collections relating to the county of Devon and the City of Exeter. Findmypast is working in partnership with South West Heritage Trust to bring you a variety of family history records.
Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Archive Services
Findmypast is proud to offer the Staffordshire parish register collection, 1538 – 1900, from the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service. The Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service holds 6,500 collections, covering over five miles of shelving. Their records date from the 11th century to the present day. Since its foundation, the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service has been responsible for the records of Staffordshire parishes. Its collections can help you to discover more about the history of your family or local community

Surrey History Trust
Findmypast is delighted to be working in partnership with the Surrey History Trust to make available online some of its core records to family historians with roots in the county. The Surrey Recruitment Registers 1908-1933 contain details of men who enlisted with the British Army at various locations in Surrey during the early part of the 20th century. The majority of these records will be of particular interest to family historians with Surrey ancestors who served during WW1. These records are not a complete recruitment record of men in that county; however, the registers provide a fascinating snapshot of Surrey's men. Findmypast is thrilled to be able to publish these records online.

Teesside Archives
Findmypast is delighted to be working with Teesside Archives, a member of the Yorkshire Digitisation Consortium, to bring you the first phase of a comprehensive collection of parish records from England's largest county.
The National Archives
The National Archives is the UK government's official archive, containing over 1,000 years of history. We work with TNA to bring you hundreds of thousands of records, many of which you won't find elsewhere online. Records that you'll see on our site from TNA include the British Army service records 1760-1915 and passenger lists leaving UK 1890-1960.
The Tank Museum Archive & Reference Library
The Tank Museum Archive holds resources about the British Army's Royal Tank Regiment, dating from 1916 to the present day. Findmypast and the Tank Museum Archive have worked in partnership to publish the Royal Tank Corps Enlistment Records, 1919-1934 online.
The University of Warwick, Modern Records Centre
The Modern Records Centre was established at the University of Warwick in 1973 with the objective of collecting primary sources for British social, political and economic history, especially in the fields of industrial relations, labour history and industrial politics. It now holds a large collection of material in these fields, including the archives of many trades unions and professional associations and employers' and trade associations, as well as extensive collections relating to pressure and campaigning groups, radical politics and the history of cycling and the motor industry.
