The European countries are facing the biggest humanitarian emergency of our era. In 2015 nearly 800,000 people have arrived in Europe by sea and land and another 15 million have been forced to flee across the Middle East. The collection comprises a snapshot of web activity captured in November 2015 and March 2016, notably on media sites and social media, related to the EU countries? handling of the huge stream of refugees in the individual countries? and on the Union?s common level.
