
The New York Knicks and Garden of Dreams Foundation hosted festivities for families from Garden of Dreams partner organizations during the holiday season as part ‘Season of Giving” presented by Kia. From November 23rd through December 25th across the league, all NBA teams supported NBA Cares ‘Season of Giving’ platform by participating in events at soup kitchens, hosting food drives and holiday parties, toy-drives, shopping sprees and much more.
DECEMBER 21: SEASON OF GIVING: LOPEZ AND GDF GIVE NEW KIA
Robin Lopez surprised the Phillips Family from the Garden of Dreams Foundation with a new KIA Sorrento including a 2 year service plan and fuel allotment. Their youngest son Christian has been battling cancer and the family is in great need of a vehicle to take him to and from his treatments and rehab.
DECEMBER 20: SEASON OF GIVING: GALLOWAY MAKE-A-WISH VISIT
Season of Giving continues as Langston Galloway, John Starks and the Garden of Dreams Foundation play Santa at Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley breakfast.
DECEMBER 15: PORZINGIS PLAYS SANTA AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER
Kristaps Porzingis surprised a group of 15 Garden of Dreams kids by picking them up in the Bronx and taking them to the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Once there, he played Santa Claus and handed out gifts.

The Knicks, Kia and Garden of Dreams Foundation held a special holiday shopping spree for families on Monday.

DECEMBER 1: KNICKS MAKE WISH COME TRUE
Staten Island native Edward Gelormino, 10, became the newest Knick on Tuesday when the team made his wish come true by signing him to a contract, holding a press conference and introducing him to the squad at Madison Square Garden.

Derrick Williams and New York Liberty legend Theresa Weatherspoon paid a visit to Hospital for Special Surgery and Ronald McDonald House to have some fun with patients for Season of Giving.
NOVEMBER 18: GARDEN OF DREAMS THANKSGIVING DINNER
Arron Afflalo, Kyle O’Quinn, Derrick Williams, Lance Thomas, Langston Galloway, Sasha Vujacic, and Garden of Dreams served a Thanksgiving Dinner for 150 families at WIN Shelter in Manhattan New York. Knicks players, Westchester Knicks players and coaching staff interacted with families in the photo booth and cookie decorating station. Each family received Knicks gifts at the memorable event.
OCTOBER 20: REFURBISHING WEST 4TH: A NEW CHAPTER IN NYC BEGINS
The New York Knicks, Chase and the City of New York unveiled a refurbished West 4th basketball court that featured resurfacing and painting, donation of new backboards and rims, basketball equipment at hear of the city basketball courts including the historic 'West 4th Street Cage' in Manhattan.
