“Ubuntu”, a phrase adopted by the 2007-08 NBA Champion Boston Celtics can loosely be defined as “I am what I am because of who we are”.

Throughout the season, Celtics player, legends and other VIP’s participate in clothing drives, throw holiday parties for youth with medical illnesses and promote the importance of protecting the environment. These efforts are designed to provide a better world for all and are grounded in the concept of “Ubuntu”.
