Step Your Game Up

Program Overview

The Step Your Game Up program strives to alter the academic trajectory of underperforming students in Boston and Lawrence public schools.

Students who are targeted for tardiness, absenteeism or failing grades enter into “contract” with the program. Once enrolled, participants are eligible for high-end Celtics prizes and experiences in exchange for improved academic performance.

The year culminates in a final event where students are treated to a Celtics party featuring VIP’s, gifts and more.
