Cassidy Bednark a.k.a. DJ Bedz, now in his thirteenth season as official DJ of the Denver Nuggets, controls the music you hear inside Pepsi Center including all the tracks for warm-ups, timeouts and big plays during the game.
Outside of Pepsi Center, DJ Bedz is a featured on-air personality and mixer at Flo 107.1 and Jammin' 101.5. He can be heard on Flo 107.1 Middays from 10AM-3PM, Monday through Friday. When he's not putting in work for the Nuggets or on the radio, you can probably catch DJ Bedz at one of Colorado's nightlife hot spots or working on his next hip-hop Mix CD. Bedz has collaborated with the likes of Ice Cube, Whoo Kid, B.O.B., and LMFAO on his mixes, thus earning him the title "Mixtape King of Colorado". Additionally, Bedz DJs for other major sporting events around the state of Colorado including performing the pregame mixes for the Denver Broncos, and providing the music for the University of Colorado Buffaloes Football and Men's Basketball home games.
Bedz also works very closely with the non-profit organization Safehouse Denver as a spokesperson and financial contributor. Safehouse Denver helps to protect women and their families from domestic violence. DJ Bedz helps keep the energy flowing throughout the game and makes sure the crowd stays pumped up as they help the Nuggets maintain one of the biggest home-court advantages in the NBA. Bedz has represented the Denver Nuggets on nine separate occasions at the NBA All-Star game.
