How do I find Moments?

Find Moments by clicking or tapping the Moments tab  on twitter.com or in the Twitter app (iOS or Android). You’ll see a guide listing current moments, customized to show you topics that are popular or relevant.

 

Moments on twitter.com

  • When you click on the Moments tab you’ll land on customized moments from Today. From the menu on the left, you can select moments categorized by News, Sports, Entertainment, and Fun.
  • When you see a moment you’d like to explore, click it to view the entire collection of Tweets. 
  • Scroll through the collection and click on any of the Tweets to view the Tweet detail. From there you can reply, Retweet, and like the Tweet. 
  • Click the X to return to the collection.

 

Moments in the Twitter app (iOS and Android)

  • When you tap the Moments tab  you’ll land on customized moments from Today. From the top of the guide, you can tap to select moments categorized by News, Sports, Entertainment, and Fun.
  • When you see a moment you’d like to explore, tap it to view the collection of Tweets that tell the story. 
  • Swipe left to scroll through the collection of Tweets.
  • Expand pictures, videos, and Tweets by tapping your screen once. From here you can tap the More icon ••• to access options to Follow, View Tweet, Send via Direct Message, Share this moment, and Mute, Block, or Report. 
  • To like a Tweet, double-tap your screen (and double-tap again to undo the like).
  • Swipe up or tap the X to leave the moment and go back to the guide. 
  • At the end of a moment, tap Share to Tweet the link.

Note: Regardless of your video autoplay settings, videos, Vines, and GIFs autoplay while you scroll through a moment. You can turn the sound on or off by clicking or tapping the speaker icon 

Can I follow a moment? 

Yes! If you see the Follow button in a moment, you can click or tap it and Tweets related to it will appear in your Home timeline as the action unfolds in real time. Tweets that are inserted into your timeline have the Moments icon next to them. When the moment is complete, you’ll stop seeing Tweets in your Home timeline.

Can I report content in a moment?

You can report content displayed in a moment, such as photos, videos, or Tweets.

  • Click or tap the Tweet to reveal the More icon ••• to access the option to Report.
  • In the Twitter app (iOS or Android), you can report a picture or video from the cover of a moment by tapping the credit link at the bottom of the screen.

Note: The Moments tab is currently only available in the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, and Brazil.
