Jones and Douglas back children's charity
![]() The couple arrive arm in arm at London's Savoy Hotel
Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas have pledged their
support for a charity for abducted and exploited children.
The couple arrived arm in arm at the Savoy Hotel, in London, for a fundraising dinner to mark the European launch of the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. It was their first public appearance in London since their son Dylan was born eight weeks ago. The couple are in the UK so Jones' relatives in Wales can meet Dylan. They fly back to the US later this month. Nationwide hunt Founded by Lady Catherine Meyer, the wife of the British Ambassador to Washington, the charity promotes the Global Missing Children's Network, which shows pictures of missing children on the internet. Part of this network is www.missingkids.co.uk, run by British police, which published a photograph of Sarah Payne during the nationwide hunt for the murdered eight-year-old this summer. The website also displayed an age-processed picture of Ben Needham, who went missing in Greece nine years ago. Hundreds of celebrities attended the gala dinner, including newsreader Anna Ford and her new husband, Sir Michael Caine's wife Lady Shakira Caine, and the charity's patron Cherie Booth QC, wife of Prime Minister Tony Blair. A message of support was read out from Sarah, Duchess of York.
