This config is mainly for my personal ThinkPad T450, but with a little tweaking, it should work for you
If you want to use these dotfiles on your Linux system, use:
git clone https://github.com/oyvindskaaden/dotfiles.git
and copy the wanted files into your home folder in their respected folder
- Vim text editor with some addons
- Zsh customizable shell
- oh-my-zsh addon for Zsh
- bspwm window manager
- Followed this guide by windelicato
- dunst notification daemon
- polybar as a panel bar
- You need additional fonts for polybar to work properly
- Tamzen font, follow instructions on site
- Siji font, follow instructions on site
- Unifont, download the .ttf file and install
- Font Awesome, download .ttf and install
- Material Icons
- You can download the .ttf font directly from their github site
- i3lock-fancy
- htop process manager as top
- Gogh gnome terminal themes
- To get transparent gnome-terminals, you have to have compiz installed
- Rofi as menu
- On most distros, you can install via a package manager
- Config for Rofi is in the .Xresources file
- Thunar as file explorer
- gtk-chtheme to change current theme
- ark-theme, i personally use ark-dark
- These files are edited regularly.
- They may not work for you, while it works for me. (Try to fix it yourself, it's a great way to learn)
