More than 300 RAF personnel have taken part in a parade through York as they exercise their right to the Freedom of the City.

The men and women, from RAF Linton-on-Ouse, marched through the city to York Minster for a special service.

The parade included a flypast by a Spitfire and Tucano aircraft and also marked the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

A number of road closures were in place while the parade took place.
