Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan has another hot video on his hands with “23 Island.” Released Tuesday, the clip already has more than a million views on YouTube.
In the video, the rapper, born Javarious Scott, clutches fat stacks of cash and smokes blunts on a beach and by a pool as he sings to his lady with lines like “Tell the truth: Do you really love me?”
The 21-year-old has built a buzz over the past few years by releasing a steady stream of mixtapes. His Forever 23 album, featuring the viral hit “Thot Thot,” gave him his Billboard 200 debut in December 2018, ranking at No. 86, and No. 37 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
