We consider endorsements of across-the-board progressive candidates who center working-class people in their domestic policies and whose foreign policy positions value peace, collaboration, and support for all human rights. We endorse candidates who are principled in their convictions, have the courage to challenge the political status quo, and are deeply invested in community organizing.

2025 Endorsements

Josh Anderson - 3rd District Alderman - Milwaukee, WI

Josh grew up in Cudahy, Wisconsin, where his working-class parents instilled in him the values of fairness and compassion. He is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a dedicated member of the Riverwest community. Currently running for Alderperson in Milwaukee's 3rd District, Josh brings a diverse background, from working in the service industry to corporate training and leadership in customer operations.

He first became involved in politics during the Act 10 protests. The legislation profoundly affected his family, which threatened public sector unions. It sparked Josh’s desire to advocate for workers’ rights and fueled his commitment to political activism. This activism grew to include environmental sustainability, democratic reforms, and an extensive list of social issues. He manages a team of technical customer advisors for a waste management company.

Josh is driven by a desire to make meaningful change and is focused on creating a more inclusive, equitable, and environmentally conscious future for all.
