Mike Montgomery earned the save in the seventh game of the 2016 World Series, and the Cubs’ left-hander closed the deal on his courtship with girlfriend Stephanie Duchaine.

Montgomery and Duchaine got married on Monday — the team’s day off — according to a post on the bride’s Twitter account that read “Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery” with a sparkles emoji and Monday’s date.

A photo of the couple accompanied the post, with Montgomery wearing a suit and tie, and the bride wearing a white dress while holding a bouquet of flowers and sporting a wide smile.

Montgomery, 29, currently is on the 10-day disabled list with left shoulder inflammation but plans to throw a bullpen session prior to Tuesday’s game in the hope he can pitch Saturday against the Reds.

Duchaine, a University of Michigan graduate, appeared in commercials for LG Phones before hosting shows for Home Shopping Network, People magazine and Amazon, according to her website.
