As a Midwestern college town, Columbia is home to high-quality health care facilities, cultural opportunities, and a low cost of living. [1]

Pronunciation
[edit]I am just curious, why did this even need to be clarified to begin with? How else would someone reasonably pronounce the word "Columbia"? Ribose carb (talk) 20:48, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Consider how a Spanish speaker would pronounce the country "Colombia". I think the clarification is needed, especially because around 10% of the City of Columbia was not born in the United States. Grey Wanderer (talk) 21:06, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
