The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe created by Marvel Studios. Beginning in 2008 with the release of the film Iron Man, the franchise has since expanded to encompass 36 total feature films and 13 television series produced by Marvel Studios, 12 television series from Marvel Television, and other media based on Marvel Comics characters. The franchise's most recent release is the film Thunderbolts*. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige (pictured) oversees the main MCU productions. The MCU, similar to the original Marvel Universe, was established by crossing over common plot elements, features, cast members, and characters. It has been commercially successful, becoming one of the highest-grossing media franchises and the highest-grossing film franchise. This includes Avengers: Endgame, which concluded its theatrical run in 2019 as the highest-grossing film of all time. The Nebula Award for Best Game Writing is one of the Nebula Awards, presented each year by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) for science fiction or fantasy game writing. The Nebula Awards have been described as one of "the most important of the American science fiction awards" and "the science-fiction and fantasy equivalent" of the Emmy Awards. The Game Writing category is the newest category of the Nebulas, which were originally awarded in 1966 solely for printed fiction. The Nebula Award for Best Game Writing has been awarded annually since 2019. During the 7 nomination years, 41 games by 121 writers have been nominated. These have primarily been video games, but also include eight books for role-playing game systems and an interactive film. Eleven writers have been nominated more than once, with Kate Heartfield, and Natalia Theodoridou having three nominations each. Interactive fiction developer Choice of Games has had the most games nominated with a total of nine over six years. (Full list...)

Edo State, situated in Nigeria's southern region, has had various leaders since Nigeria gained independence in 1960, both military and civilian. After independence, Nigeria had only three regions, and the area of the future Edo State was located in the Western Region. The Mid-Western Region was separated from the Western Region in August 1963 and had Dennis Osadebay as its initial Premier. The modern Edo state was established on 27 August 1991, following the division of Bendel State into Edo State and Delta State. John Odigie-Oyegun became the first civilian governor of Edo State from January 1992 to November 1993, followed by military governors. In the democratic era, Lucky Igbinedion served from 1999 to 2007, and was succeeded by Oserheimen Osunbor. Adams Oshiomhole served from 2008 to 2016, followed by Godwin Obaseki, who was re-elected in 2020. Monday Okpebholo (pictured) has been incumbent since 2024. (Full list...)

Seattle Reign FC has played eleven full seasons in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the highest level of women's club soccer in the United States. The team is based in Seattle, Washington, and has won three NWSL Shields and had seven playoff appearances. They have not won an NWSL Championship but finished as runners-up on three occasions: in 2014, 2015, and 2023. In addition to league honors, the team won the 2022 edition of The Women's Cup, an invitational tournament with international teams. As of the end of the 2024 season, the Reign have played 252 total regular season games with 111 wins, 79 losses, and 62 draws—a winning percentage of 0.563. (Full list...)

There are thirty listed sites located in the Mackenzie District, a territorial authority in the Canterbury Region of the South Island of New Zealand. A large inland plain at the foothills of the Southern Alps, it was frequently visited by Māori hunting parties, but sparsely populated. European settlers established sheep runs in the area by the 1850s. Heritage New Zealand classifies sites on the New Zealand Heritage List / Rārangi Kōrero in accordance with the Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Act 2014. It distinguishes between Category 1 ("places of special or outstanding historical or cultural significance") and Category 2 ("places of historic or cultural significance"). The Mackenzie District has three Category 1 sites, one historic area, and twenty-six Category 2 sites. An additional Category 2 site—the War Memorial in Fairlie—was demolished in 1999 and delisted.
